My Vampire

Chapter 4

The next morning I woke up early. I was ready for my practice. I tied my hair ponytail I ate this 1 year delicious bread and I began. Our practice started in our big garden. He gave me some basic  information about vampires. Our first lesson was about vampire attacks. Leo attacked me. I tried to attack back, but I was weak.

Jennie: You are so strong!

Leo: Try again!

Well, I tried again. He jumped on me but then I punched him with a lot of strength. What had I done?! Did I kill him?! I approached him but instead of being dead he raised his hand for me to help him. When he stood up, he congratulated me and we continued. Suddenly, he felt tired. I helped him to go to his bed.

Leo: Jennie, can you give me this wine?

Jennie: You mean the blood? And I giggled.

Leo: Yes. I feel so tired. But I don't know why.

I went to the kitchen when I caught my reflection in this magic mirror which Leo was holding yesterday in the bathroom.

Leo: Why are you so late?, Leo shouted from his room.

Jennie: I am coming!

I went closer to the mirror and I saw myself. After a while, it showed myself standing next to a wolf. That was confusing. I went to Leo's room with the bottle.

Jennie: Can I ask you a question?

Leo: What is it?

Jennie: Who's blood is that?

Leo looked at me embarrassed. He hesitated to answer me. I could clearly see his fear in his deep blue eyes. So I asked him again.

Jennie: May I ask you again?

Leo: You don't have to know. You are still very young.

Jennie: Am I too young because I am only 18? Are you kidding me?

Leo: You will learn when you become twenty.

Jennie: Ugh! Anyways, now drink this stupid blood and keep other secrets with your family. I know I am the youngest here, but is this a problem?

I left angrily and I slammed the door shut. Why do they keep secrets from me? I suppose I am a problem to this family. I really wanted to calm down so I had a walk in the big and tremendous garden on my own. I sat in a bench and I started my meditation. Without understanding it I fell asleep. When I woke up I realised that it was already midnight. How much had I slept? When I stood up I entered the house but everything was silent. I started worrying. I checked Leo's room but he wasn't there. Everything became scarier when the lights went off. I felt two hands holding my mouth and my nose. I tried to shout but it was impossible. Very soon, I was loosing my senses. When I woke up, I couldn't recognize where I was. My heart was pounding like crazy and my legs got numb. After a lot of minutes, someone entered this room. He had long hair and he  had yellow eyes. He was also a vampire but he looked friendly.

Jennie: Who are you?! Why did you kidnapped me?!

???: Don't worry little girl. You are safe with us.

Why everyone calls me "little"? That is freaking horrible!

Jennie: Can you please answer my question?

???: We are a vampire group who helps humans that are in trouble.

Jennie: I am not in trouble!

???: For now, have a taste of our food.

I was led into a room which had so many kinds of food inside. Fries, chicken, steak, bean soup, salads and golden bread. I saw vampires serving meals and some others sitting on elegant chairs. The tablecloth was linean and 10 vases with black roses were placed on it. Everyone waved me like I was their queen. When I sat down I noticed that only one member of the group was missing because no one was sitting in the chair next to me. A big gate opened and a vampire appeared. He was so handsome. He had shiny green eyes and dark blue messy hair. (Why all the vampires have messy hair?! That's my weakness!) I had my mouth opened when he came in. He sat next to me and he noticed my mouth. Ηe put his hands under my jaw and he simply closed it. So rude! Everyone started eating but I have a small doubt about the food. What if they wanted to trick me and kill me for my blood? I decided not to eat any of them. The guy next to me seemed that he noticed it.

???: Why don't you eat? You will starve.

Jennie: I am okay.

???: Well, darling, we are not dangerous vampires. We don't harm anyone.

His deep voice mesmerized me. I was gazing his face when he said:

???: Done looking my face?

Jennie: I wasn't looking at you. I was looking at... This lamp over there.

???: Sure. By the way, what's your name? I am Lucious.

Maybe I had to tell lies again. I had a bad feeling about those guys. They kidnapped me without any reason and they can't return me back to my place. Although I had argued with Leo, I missed him so much! I glared the food and then something was pressuring me to eat it. I was starving to death but I couldn't let myself eat.

Lucious: Little, are you hearing me?

Jennie: Yes, I am... Sue !

Lucious: Oh I love this name. Start eating.

I really needed to eat something so I grabbed a slice of golden bread and I ate it. It tasted so good. After a while, I realised that nothing had happened to me. I calmed down so I swallowed more slices. After the dinner, I saw Lucious leaving this enormous room so I ran before him.

Jennie: Lucious, wait !

Lucious: What's wrong capcake?

Jennie: Firstly I am not food and secondly you are a vampire group who helps humans, don't you?

Lucious: Yep. What's the matter with that?

When he talked to me, I felt something weird. Something was trying to prevent me asking him my question. For only one second, I stopped breathing but then I was again fine. I couldn't remember what I had to say. So I greeted him and left. I went somewhere to sleep and when I lied down a bed I immediately slept. I didn't have any nightmare. The following morning, I woke up fresher and more relaxed. I met Lucious in the hallway talking with another vampire. I don't know why but I felt Lucious been my boyfriend from forever but he never was. When I approached him, he hugged me like a normal boyfriend and we started chatting. Something was going wrong. I didn't know anyone around me except Lucious. Suddenly, we entered a room. He showed me a picture of a guy who had short black and messy hair with deep blue eyes.

Lucious: Do you know this guy?

Jennie: No? Why would I know him?, I was so confused. Who was this guy on the picture? He looked so handsome.

Lucious: His name is Leo. He is very dangerous, we have to kill him to stay safe.

Jennie: But why?

Lucious: Because he always threats our group that if we don't give him enough money, he will burst into our secret fortress and kill us.

Jennie: We mustn't let him do that to us! I am in.

He smirked and left me alone. Who was this stunningly handsome boy in the picture? I felt that I knew him from the past but I couldn't remember from where. It was the first time I had heard his name. He had a cold and mysterious look. Everything was so confusing for me. I had to find out who it really was.
