THE NEXT DAY, BLAIR WAS STILL FEELING UNWELL, but she managed to get out of bed and go to the clearing again. When she approached the trailer she saw Brady, Jules and Stevie already gathered.

By their expressions she could already tell this isn't going to be a peaceful day.

Jules let out a sigh when Blair arrived, "Blair, I'm glad you came. We need to talk."

Blair crossed her arms, stepping closer to the group, "It better be worth it. I'm too tired right now, so hurry."

Jules sighed, rubbing her temples, "The witch from last night, his name is Jonas, he gave Tyler a message. He said we all need to get the hell out of town."

Blair met her gaze, her voice steady, "Maybe that's a good idea. Staying here is only going to get us killed."

Brady's eyes narrowed as he added, "Running away isn't out style, Blair. Also we can't leave yet."

"We can't? Why not?"

Stevie turned to Blair, "When Brady told me about what that Tyler kid said about Mason being here for the moonstone, something clicked."

Blair nodded as she listened carefully, "Go on. What clicked?"

"There was this moment back in Florida when I suspected Mason was up to something because he was banging that that hot vampire chick Cathy—"

Blair raised her hand to interrupt him, "Hold on. Cathy? You mean Katherine?"

Stevie shrugged, "I don't know her actual name. It's something like that."

Jules turned to Blair, "You know the girl?"

Blair nodded, "Yeah. You guys don't?"

They all shook their heads, clearly puzzled.

Blair took a deep breath, "She's a vampire. She was working with Mason to break the sun and the moon curse. She's trapped in the tomb right now."

The group exchanged glances.

Brady's face darkened, and he raised his tone, "You didn't mind to tells us until now?"

Blair shook her head, "No? Why? Is this something important?"

Stevie sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Yes, it is."
