THE NEXT DAY, BLAIR AND ELENA FOUND THEMSELVES STANDING ON THE PORCH OF THE SALVATORE HOUSE.

Elena took a deep breath and knocked on the door. Within moments, Damon opened it, a greeting smile forming on his lips as he welcomed Elena first.

Blair, still uneasy from the events of the previous night, remained reserved. Damon's attempt at a friendly gesture received only a curt nod from her, and she walked past him, not making eye contact.

Entering the house, Blair wasted no time in seeking answers. "What's the reason behind interrupting my sleep?" She found Stefan and questioned him.

Stefan, however, remained silent. Before Blair could press further, a girl with short brown hair entered the room.

Blair, immediately on guard, questioned the newcomer, "Who are you?"

Stefan, introducing the girl, explained, "Her name is Rose. She's the girl who helped kidnap Elena."

Blair's immediate reaction was to charge towards the girl, fueled by a mix of fear and protectiveness.

Stefan's arm intercepted her path, preventing an impulsive confrontation.

The girl, named Rose, quickly assured, "I'm not here to hurt anybody. I just want to help."

"How can we trust you?"

Rose, unfazed, responded, "You'll just have to trust me because I know something that will be useful to all of you."

Stefan, attempting to diffuse the tension, reassured, "It's okay, Blair."

Elena, entering the room and casting a fearful look at Rose, muttered, "You."

Stefan, offering a comforting glance to Elena, signaled that Rose wasn't a threat. Elena nodded, the group then moved to the living room. Blair was the first one to sit on the sofa.

Damon leaning into Blair's ear, asked, "Are we gonna talk about what happened last night?"

"Not right now, Damon." Blair muttered only so that he could hear, scooting over since he was basically towering over her in this position.

"Okay, you have to understand I only know what I picked up over the years." Rose paced the room.

"I don't know what's true and what's not true."
