RANVIJAY

I want to tell you something, Ranvijay.

Kashish's words still gnawed at my insides, torturing my muscles in such a way that I couldn't even explain. If something scares me most in this whole world, it was Kashish. Panic like I'd never known coiled my veins.

I was at police station for the past an hour and inquired Riya and Siddhartha, along with all the people who had gone to Mahabaleshwar with Kashish. Something niggled at me when Mousi said that Kashish dropped a text to Divya.

My gut screamed there was something fishy about all this. I mean, she had been abducted for almost a week, and nobody even tried to search for her. Neither my family nor her hospital authorities, who acted like goddamn rules followers whenever she applied for immediate leave.

"Yeah, she was with us until she got sick. Then Akshat guided her to washroom...and then we got a message from Kashish that she was leaving with you," you mean Ranvijay. "Then Akshat also left," Riya said.

Points cleared in my head. He used my name to take her out. He was completely aware that no one would cross-check on Kashish if she was with her husband.

My skin heated with anger. I'd expressly warned her not to attend any random places without telling me. But like I said, I'd never seen a stubborn girl like her before.

I could handle hundreds of soldiers and thousands of terrorists, but wife. Why didn't she tell me anything about that fucking stalker?

I wasn't against her daily life. But the whole kidnapping and stalking incident could've been avoided had she open-up to me. But it was too late to regret major. You have to find her.

That was my priority and I will think later what death the stalker deserves. While I examined her calls and message history for anything that could lead me to Kashish. I cursed under my breath, flipping through the threatening and explicit exchanges with the stalker.

"You can't hide from me, Kashish. I'm always watching."

"You belong to me. No one else can have you."

"If you tell anyone about this, I'll make sure you regret it."

Since when he had been torturing my Jaan. I murmured a mix of fear, anger and frustration bubbled up inside me and took me to such an extent that I could murder anybody to calm down my nerves.

"Ranvijay, look at that." Arjun's words earned my attention. We demanded to see CCTV footage from the past week, and the hotel manager's quickened his task when DCP of Maharashtra asked for it.

Kashish entered the hotel with her colleagues, wearing composed smile. Not fucking her style. She was always childish and warm. I could bet she was sad.

I refocused on screen, she placed an order at the counter and sat at the separate table for few minutes, holding mint chocolate ice cream while the others were just few tables away from her.

Despite the profundity of the situation, I found her gorgeous in the dress I had given her. She kissed my black wrist band tied to her right hand and whispered something. I wasn't the only one obsessed with her things, she was too.

I almost felt her lips on my wrist. I couldn't hear what she was saying, but I could read her body language. She was missing me her eyes watered. I wish I could embrace her tightly and kissed her.

I missed you too, Raaje. Very much!

After that, she again rejoined her friends and later, she came out, taking support from Akshat's shoulder. I clutched my fist against the back of Arjun's chair until my knuckles turned white when I'd seen his hand placement on her back.
