Engaged To My Professor

Chapter 6

***ANDREA'S POV***

"Welp that was tense" said my brother Jaden as he sipped from his glass of wine. It was tense but I understand why she's so mad I am as well only difference is I'm better at hiding it. "Andrea you're getting married??" Asked Liam confused but I was too lost in thought to answer him.

As I was thinking I didn't realize my father was calling out my name until someone tapped my shoulder gaining my attention.

"Andrea" said my father I looked up at him "Do you have anything you'd like to say?" He asked. I cocked my head and looked at him in disbelief for a moment.

Did he really just ask that?!, Do I have something to say? Of course I do you just forced me into a contract marriage without my knowledge. "I don't think it'll make any difference you all seem to have made up your mind about it already but if you truly want to know how I feel about the matter then I'll tell you honestly" I said gaining their attention as I took a breath before speaking again.

"I do not want to marry her not only is she one of my students but she's also 6 years younger than me basically a child" I said to them.

My father sighed.

"Tell me what you want" said my father I looked at him "Pardon me?" I asked.

"I'll give you anything you ask for so long as you don't fight me on this marriage" he said. My father knew that unlike Grace Saintclair I have power of my own and I have not been under their care in a long time so if I chose to focus all my efforts on breaking this contract then I just might win.

I looked around at the table and my eyes landed on Brian who seems to find this whole situation amusing no wonder he was in such a good mood when he came to see me yesterday.

Brian and I have never been on good terms. before my grandfather died he was considering me as another option for running the company because Brian was proving to be incapable. now I'm not saying Brian is stupid I'm just saying he lacks the ability to see beyond what's right in front of him and to Run a company as big as our family's that's a much needed ability.

But all that went down the drain when my father took over. He took me out of the running for the company position as heir and named Brian next in line.

I smirked and picked up my glass of wine. I think I know what I'm going to ask for.

"I want the company" I said to my father, Brian nearly choked on his drink when I said that. I knew very well that my father wouldn't hand over the company to me, I'm only asking for something big so what I ask for next when he says no would seem small.

After a while of silence my father spoke "I can't do that" he said. My brother Brian looked relieved when he heard that.

"Then I want complete control over 7 things, Anderson Media, one of the clothing shops, the grand hotel, one model agency, one bank, one police department, and the biggest warehouse the family own" I said my father made a thinking face as he looked at me no doubt trying to figure out what I was planning to do with all this.

The only reason I became a professor is because the company I built is still in the starter business phase which means one wrong move and everything you've worked for is gone in an instant. Right now my company lacks resources and if my father gives me what I asked for then I can use them to make more money to put towards my company.

"Ok I'll sign over all of them to you come to my office to sign the paperwork next week" said my father "Tomorrow, I want to sign that paperwork tomorrow" I said, I'm not giving him time to possibly change his mind.

He sighed "Ok then tomorrow" he said. "What?! You're really going to give her all of that?" Asked Jaden in disbelief.

"A deal is a deal" said my father "Bullshit I asked last week if I could run Anderson media and you told me no, now your just going to hand it all over to Andrea just like that?!" Shouted Jaden. "Enough!" Shouted my mother at Jaden he was stunned for a moment then sat back down in his seat.

Later Mr. Saintclair walked back in and seconds after Grace came back in as well taking her seat next to me. I wonder what they talked about that made her look like that.

She was silent and something was different she was more emotionless than before. Mr. Saintclair cleared his throat before sliding us both an envelope.

"Now that everything is settled here are the terms and conditions of the contract sign your names on the line and we'll go over what you'll gain from this agreement" said Michael Saintclair.

I opened the envelope and so did Miss Saintclair, I glanced over at her momentarily and she didn't Hesitate to sign the papers. Which was confusing because just earlier she was ready to go to war with everyone at this table. I sighed and looked at the paper then up at my father who gave me a nod, marrying my student is less then ideal but without those things I asked for, my company won't make it.

I took a breath before picking up the pen and signing the paper as well then once I was done I pushed it forward back over to them. Miss Saintclair did the same her expression still not changing, "Ok now that, that's over here's what you'll gain you each will get 45 million, you will both be given a house to move into after the marriage is completed, to Andrea Anderson a 20 percent Share of your family company and to Grace Saintclair the position of CEO at Saint industries when the time comes, you both will be given a vacation home in Hawaii and your choice pick of Servants to hire or take with you" said Mr. Anderson before looking up at us.

"You both are to be married next week at a city hall" he finished.
