***GRACES POV***

"So let me get this straight last week you married Miss Smith, our professor Miss smith who is actually the only daughter of the famous well known Anderson family?!?!" Said Gio as he tried to wrap his head around everything I told him while we sat in his room on his bed.

"Yup" I said popping the P, "Whoa that is insane" said Gio. "Yeah I know but you can't tell anyone about this" I said "Well duh that goes without saying I'm not a bladder mouth you can count on me to keep it to myself" said Gio seriously.

"Thanks I replied as I laid back on his bed and looked up at the ceiling of his bedroom.

"Hey I'm really sorry, I had no idea they were planning to force you to get marry, had I known I would've done something" he said laying down next to me.

I shook my head "It's fine there's nothing you could've done" I said. "I could've warned you or something" he said, "Not even that would've helped me, he basically held the fact that I'm nothing without them over my head" I said.

"That pisses me off I use to think highly of your family but after hearing what they did and said to you, I don't think I do anymore" he said. Gio and I grew up together so he's met my parents plenty of times when he would come over to the manor. Gio is my only friend, as a child I wasn't allowed to have female friends by order of my grandfather, he said it was because it would make me even more confused that was also the reason why I wasn't allowed to play with dolls or paint my nails like all the other girls did.

The only little girls I was allowed to hangout with were my cousins.

At first it use to make me depressed but as time went by I just stopped thinking about it.

After hanging out with Gio and venting to him about my problems I made my way back home.

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by my suitcases at the door and some of my other things packed up. I saw a maid coming down with a few of my bags and watched as she sat them with the others before turning around and jumping a bit when she seen me.

She didn't notice I had walked in. "Oh My Lady it's you?!" She said. I looked around at all my stuff before speaking "What's this all about why are you moving my stuff?" I asked getting kind of ticked off.

"My apologies my lady but-" she tried saying but she was cut off by my grandfather walking in and speaking over her.

"I ordered her to" he said coming to stand in front of me as he leaned on his Kane a bit for support. I looked at him confused "What? Why?" I asked "Because you no longer live here, you're married now a married couple should live together and as a husband you have duties to carry out" he said.

There he goes again.

I balled my fist for a moment then let go shaking my head and ignoring the fact that he just clearly Miss gendered me again.

"But I thought I didn't have to move in with her till next month?" I asked, that's what my father told me at least. I was relieved about that because that meant I had some time before I had to stay with her.

It's bad enough that I have to see her every day at the university I don't really want to have to see her every day at home as well.

"Well I changed it, you're moving today the house has already been cleaned and prepared there's no reason for you to continue staying in the manor away from your wife" said my grandfather.

I wanted to fight him on this but it wouldn't have helped. when my grandfather set his mind on something it never changes. I stood there quietly as he gave the maids their commands "have all of this sent to the west villa manor" said my grandfather before walking away. I watched as the maid bowed to me before going to go do as my grandfather instructed.
