Hanbin sat at his desk, the weight of his badge feeling heavier than ever. As a police officer, he had sworn to uphold the law, but today his loyalties were being tested. He glanced at the photo on his desk of him, Gyuvin, and Ricky from years ago, back when life was simpler.

The radio crackled with updates about the chase. "All units, the suspects have evaded capture. Last seen heading towards the warehouse district," the dispatcher announced. Hanbin's heart raced. He knew exactly where his friends were hiding.

He stood up, grabbing his jacket. "I'm going to check the warehouse district," he informed his partner, trying to keep his voice steady.

"Be careful, Hanbin," his partner replied. "Those guys are dangerous."

Hanbin nodded and headed out, his mind swirling with conflicting emotions. He drove towards the warehouse district, his thoughts on Gyuvin and Ricky. They had always been like brothers to him, and he couldn't bring himself to betray them.

As he approached the area, he turned off his siren and parked a few blocks away. He walked the rest of the way, slipping into the shadows. He found the abandoned warehouse and quietly made his way inside.

"Gyuvin, Ricky," he whispered, hoping they could hear him. "It's Hanbin."

From the darkness, Gyuvin and Ricky emerged, relief washing over their faces. "Hanbin, you came," Gyuvin said, his voice filled with gratitude.

"I couldn't leave you guys hanging," Hanbin replied, his eyes serious. "But you need to get out of here. The police are all over this place."

"We know," Ricky said, frustration evident in his voice. "But where can we go?"

Hanbin thought for a moment. "There's an old tunnel system beneath the city. It used to be part of the subway but was abandoned years ago. You can use it to get out of here undetected."

Gyuvin and Ricky exchanged glances, hope flickering in their eyes. "Thanks, Hanbin," Gyuvin said. "We owe you."

"Just be careful," Hanbin warned. "And stay out of sight. I'll do what I can to keep the heat off you, but you need to lay low."

With that, Hanbin led them to the entrance of the tunnel system, hidden behind a stack of crates. "This should lead you out of the city," he explained. "Good luck."

Gyuvin and Ricky nodded, disappearing into the darkness of the tunnel. Hanbin watched them go, a mix of relief and worry in his heart. He knew he was risking everything, but he couldn't abandon his friends.

As he walked back to his car, he prayed that they would find a way to escape and start over. The road ahead was uncertain, but Hanbin was determined to protect his friends, no matter the cost.
