13: Rumours

Days passed, and here I am, dwelling on things I want to do- need to do.

Looking for clues to prove my theory... that perhaps Mal is just like me. If so, it explains why the story changed by the time I came. That theory is highly possible, but it also backs up that maybe, I am not the only one, who came to this world.

I have a plan, a simple plan. but, its hard to prove its immediate effect as I am not that smart and I am alone, with no one to fully trust. Even so, I want to do something about this, about Mal possibly someone like me-- a book wearer, not a transmigrator.

Those time I meet Mal for few occasions the past days, I saw nothing unusual. But because I can't tell anything wrong, I even extend her stay nor made a frequent meetings just to observe or squeeze out any answer I can link her to my connection. But no, I failed to do so.

But taking those risk, I also risk myself being discover as not the real Phil.

"By the way... I guess, Martial and Del is really coming back for real this time..."

"What do you mean by that?"

"You forgot? I mean you guys did not meet for a long time that I can understand why you will forgot."

"MAL!"

This times I spend with her, I find her comfortable to hang out with. She is no different from a commoner nor the people in my world, pretty normal who you can get along pretty easily. One reason I let my guard down a little around her.

But seriously, I feel bad for asking this...

"You don't really remember?"

"I won't ask if I do!"

I hear her whisper something I cannot understand. I saw how her mood change a little before she change back to normal. What was that??

She's hiding something... but... I know we are not close enough to share secrets... Especially me, one who's reading some story only to end up in the same story.

But thankfully, she answer my questioning relationship with Philip's brothers.

"Then I'll remind you. Del is fine actually he is like a normal typical brother but... Martial is the problem."

Well, I know the story is becoming less and less reliable as time passes but according to it, Philip does not have... what?

Realizing it, it was never mentioned in the story of Philip having brothers... Analyzing again the story, I find it no useful information about all the side characters... In their story, the only focus was the main characters Malaysia and Thailand. Thier story is pack with details but only to them. when another male lead come in the scene, its only been like that and never more nor deep. Their background was never mentioned entirely but their information was minimal to none.

Now that I think about it, a lot of questionable facts are resurfacing. Why? No, how come its like that? This might explain why Philip's brothers came to me like that, since they are never mentioned.

Why do I read Mary Sue stories again?

Never mind that.

"Come on, Mal. I want to know!"

She sigh in defeat.

"Okay, fine. But, I need to know something first before I did that."

Well, that's strange. But its fine, right?

"Well, shoot."

"Is the rumours true about your accident?"

Now it's my turn to ask questions.
