Days passed and all I did was nothing and lay in bed. Also, hiding from Martial. And also, meeting Mal. Sometimes, going out at the town. But overall, its nothing but boredom.

The only change was the news about Timor-Leste. The one who will become an assassin in few years... I guess. I'm not sure anymore. I don't think everything I knew make sense at all.

Going back to Timor. Baguio gave me her finding in Timor's current situation. He's poor, breadwinner of the family, the oldest of his sibling and the one taking care of them. He has the background I knew... Except, they still poor.

Timor made a lot of odd jobs to feed his family which leads him to become an assassin. After gather a decent amount of fortune, he bought a house for them to live in. And that's that, only that he is not currently.

I checked the age multiple times and indeed. He is 17, the same age as he was in his peak of his assassin career. But, the reality is different. He is not an assassin this time.

I don't know if I should be glad or sad. I mean its good that he's not like his the one I read but at this rate, they might be sold off the illegal market.

It is common here, of course illegal, to  sell people with no one to look for. The best example are beggars, just like Timor and his siblings.

Good thing I gave Baguio some money to procide them, as an excuse for causing him trouble. But, will it be enough? I hope so. I don't have anything to offer him since I'm don't own anything here. I can't just give Philip's parents money suddenly.

A knock disturb my thoughts, I let them enter without looking.

I heard them enter.

"Baguio, is it lunch yet?"

But, no one answered.

It was quiet for a long time until, I got up to face her.

"Bag—"

Uh oh...

My eyes widen in bewilderment.

It's Martial!

"Ma–Ma– Martial! Wha–what are y-you do-doing here?!"

His eyes darts on me. I gulp, nervously.

Why is he HERE?

He stare at me for I don't know, minutes?

Then he finally spoke.

"We're all going out today for lunch. Get ready, we'll see you in an hour."

Just like that, he left.

Yes, Philip mentioned Martial won't speak when you're not paying attention to what will he say.

Gulp...

I gulp again, dismissing the nervousness left away.

Wow, talking to him is like talking to some mountain; cold mountain of snow. If you don't put an effort to listen, he'll sent you avalanche.

I got up and went to prepare.

Everything about the lunch went normal. Nothing more, nothing less. Both of the couple just warn us about the upcoming graduation ceremony. And, that's it.

Thinking about it, I also prepared the gift I choose for both of them, the older one is the only graduating but they made me pick for Martial too, so I busy away.

Just like that, the party soon came. Since I'm dressing up a male, I don't need a long hours of preparation like a woman do. That's a good thing. And yest reminder how questionable this whole situation is.
