Manik's pov

The stars twinkle making me smile reminding me of Nandini, it's been a week since I have seen her, she isn't back from manali yet and my patience are running out. I had to come back early because of nyonika but I didn't want to, I didn't want to leave her alone there.

I'm not sure what magic she has done on me because I have never craved someone like I crave Nandini, I literally can't go a single minute without thinking about her let alone a single hour

We have been texting a lot, we even face time in the night when she is in her room but I miss holding her, I miss teasing her for being tiny, a pet peeve of hers but I love when she pouts at me in anger

I wanted to stay in manali with Nandini but I had to come back because nyonika was throwing a fit about something related to those papers I need from her and as usual she tells me her 100 conditions which won't be fulfilled so I have just been talking to my lawyers to find a loophole

"Why haven't you slept yet?" Druv asks coming in my room

I have been very distant from druv as well as alia because the two are changing and not a little, they are starting to emotionally blackmail me to stay away from Nandini.

"Wasn't sleepy when did you guys get back?" I ask

"Half an hour ago, it took a while to get our luggage settled in the car" he says

"Alia probably brought back a lot of stuff" I say

"Tons, I don't even know what she bought there" he laughs making me chuckle along with

If they are back, that means Nandini is back, she is probably in her hostel

"How was the drive back?" I ask

"Fine, tiring, why?" He asks suspiciously

"It must've been a long drive so just asking"

I was asking about Nandini but he won't say anything so I need to go find cabir and then go to Nandini, fuck, I miss her so much

"Yeah it was a bit tiring for sure, wanna grab a drink?"he asks

"Im gonna quickly see cabir"

"Perfect, lets all grab a drink" he says walking with me

I just hope he didn't see the disappointment on my face when he said that, I shut wanna see Nandini and cabir right now but I guess im grabbing drinks now

"Where are mukti and alia?" I ask

"Mukti I think is hanging out with harshad and alia is in her room I believe"

"She is hanging out with him?"

"Yeah, she has been the past week, why do you sound so shocked?"

"You guys let her go with harshad and why don't I know about this"

He chuckles making us drinks as cabir walks into the living room

"Cabir why the fuck is mukti spending a night with him?" I ask him

"Hi cabir, how are you? Oh im great, how are you bud?" I frown looking at him

He makes me want to hang myself from a balcony and never come back up

"She was being stubborn, I tried stopping her but you know mukti so there is that but other than that everyone really enjoyed" he says hinting at nandini

half my worries go down the drain because I know she is okay, she enjoyed herself.

"It's been a while since we had drinks together" druv mumbles handing us both a drink
