"Why isn't she here yet?" I find myself whining a little
It's been an hour maybe even more since nandini had called but she still isn't here yet. Her hostel is about 20 to 30 minutes away so there is no reason for it to have taken this long
"It takes time" cabir reassures me
We were both watching tv, and I don't mean actually watching, he was on his phone while I was just thinking about things and by things I mean nandini
Ever since Nandini and I have been talking, she is always on my mind, 24/7. It's a little different because usually music is the only thing on my mind but nope not since nandini
"He looks like a giant" her voice makes me look at the door
she was standing there with navya wearing the cutest pyjamas with hearts on them, her hair in a braid.
"He looks like an alien" navya says
"Get your girlfriend out of here" i mumble to cabir
"You get yours out of here" navya yells back at me
"Navya" I warn
"Navya" she mimics and seeing her mimic me, Nandini giggles
"Navya" nandini begins to mimic my voice now but instead of getting annoyed I just groan turning on my stomach
"Monster sad" she whispers making me smile
"No he is not sad, your monster is an asshole"
"Hey, be nice to my love" cabir says making the girls laugh
'What? We are in love, did you two not know this?"
"Nope, definitely new information" Nandini giggles
"Oh yeah we go way back, we eve hookup sometimes"
"CABIRRR" I yell
"Okay time for us to go baby, he is going to become angry" he mumbles to navya
I couldn't help but groan in the pillow, they are so god damn annoying.
"Stop giggling"
"I definitely didn't think you'd hook up with cabir but honestly ill give you a pass for that" she mumbles
I feel the bed sinking beside me, knowing it's her I move my head onto her lap wrapping my arms around her waist
"Mani" she whispers
"I missed you" I whisper back, my eyes still closed
"I missed you too monster, how are you so drunk?" She asks knowing I don't get drunk drunk like this
I have told her that I drink but she knows I will never get drunk to the point of no return well that's until nyonika is in the picture. Before I could say anything I heard steps and I know very well it's not cabir so I quickly got up to close the door
"Ahh gosh" I groan when my head buzzes around like no one's business
"What are you doing?" she asks running to me
"The door, can you shut it?" I ask sitting back on the bed
She hums walking to the door shutting it
"Also lock it"
"Are you making fun of my height?' She asks pouting at me
"No?"
"Then how do I lock it?" She says pointing at the third lock on the top of the door
"Just press the little button, it'll lock it and come back to me"
"Noooo" she giggles locking the door
Walking over to the bed she sits beside me looking at me with a smile, wide enough to let the world know of her happiness.
"Yes?"
"You like me" she grins
"Fucks sake, yeah yeah I like you as if I hadn't said it a billion times before" she laughs hearing my frustrated voice
"Maniii be nice"
"I like you baby, I like you so much it hurts" I mumble laying my head on her shoulder
"I like you more" she whispers kissing my hair
I don't think I have ever felt this feeling, it's like tiny creatures in my stomach doing something weird. I don't even know how to describe this feeling but it's also warm and fuzzy
"Come on lay down, ill tell you about the drive back and also give you a head massage" she says
i don't argue because my head hurt so bad so I placed a pillow in her lap laying down when she sits properly with her legs sprawled out on the bed
"Mani you feel warm" she whispers when her hand touches my forehead
"Im hot but thats just because I was born that way"
"Which baby is born freezing? You are so silly, but you know what I mean"
"Im fine" I assure her
she sighs running her fingers though my hair gently, it was so calming and peaceful
"How was the drive back?" I ask
"Horrible, I was nauseous the whole ride back"
"Pregnant?" I tease a little
"Oh of course, twins actually. Should the twins take your last name or mine?"
"ours and I want to be in the delivery room, oh and no male doctor" I tell her
She laughs hearing me, her laugh and her smiles are music to my ears which is saying a lot because I love my music but her giggles are so much more calming
"Why's that? What if I want a male doctor?" She teases back
Thats another thing about Nandini that I flipping adore, she can tease me back. Not even a handful of people can do that so to me, this is different and very fun
"The male doctor will have a blindfold and a fuck ton of gloves, he can be there for instructions but not to touch and feel"
"Oh right so how do you suppose they deliver the twins?"
"Thats not a me problem, for all I care, I can deliver them, it can't be that hard"
"Hahaha oh my gosh ahahaha manik thats funny, there is no way"
"well all you do is shove your hands up there, grab the kid and yank" I mumble jokingly
She bursts out in fits of laughter making me smile
"Maniii did the alcohol go in the wrong section of your head maybe?"
"Right now the alcohol is running through my veins"
"That's weird"
'What is?" I ask
"Nothing, mhm how was your week away from me?"
"Bad"
"Whyyyy"
"Stop asking stupid questions, and move those hands faster"
"Ask nicely" she says pulling her hands away from my hair
"Nandiniii" she giggles running her fingers through my hair again
