Shuichi's POV (3rd person):
Once Kokichi and Shuichi met everyone, the monitors suddently turned on, letting those Monokubs things appear on the screen.
(I'm gonna use colored thingies to let you know which Monokub is speaking because they're tiring to write 😩)
💗"Hiii! Thanks for bear-ing with us!" (Monophanie)
🟢"..." (Monodam)
🔵"Kept you bastards waiting, huh!?" (Monokid)
🔴"Everyone, make your way to the gym please." (Monotaro)
🔵"The opening ceremony can finally begin!"(Monokid)
🔴"Phew! We finally finished our preparations!"(Monotaro)
🟡"You do realize you just read your lines backwards, don't you?"(Monosuke)
🔴"So long! Bear-well!"(Monotaro)
And then, the monitors turned off.
"Those things are more confusing than that Kiyo guy" Kokichi spoke up, crossing his arms. "So, let's go to the gym then?" He looked at Shuichi, waiting for an answer.
"I don't think we have much choice anyways." Shuichi shrugged, walking to the gym with Kokichi.
As soon as the duo arrived, everyone was chatting except for Shuichi who wasn't really chatty, Kokichi was staying by Shuichi's side instead of running around to include himself in conversations for some reasons, but that didn't stop him to annoy the others.
"...Huh? What that?" Gonta spoke up, perking up. It seems like he heard something.
"Hm? What's wrong?" Ryoma looked up at the much taller boy in curiosity.
"Listen... Hear that?"
Shuichi tried to concentrate to hear anything, he didn't, but there was still something odd; He could feel a slight vibration from the ground. The detective crouched down and touched the ground to check it out, there was indeed a slight shake intensifying more and more.
"Hah! look at that emo virgin! He's picking up the soap, he wants his virginity to be taken!" Miu stated loudly, pointing at Shuichi mockingly, only earning annoyed glares from the others before they curiously looked at Shuichi.
Shuichi ignored Miu's statement and slowly got up. "The ground is shaking, something's coming."
"Atua says it's an earthquake!" Angie exclaimed, making Himiko let out a worried whine.
"Nyeh! An earthquake? We're all gonna die!"
"No wait, I hear something too! It sounds like robots from animes!" Tsumugi stated, and as soon as she said that, five giant robots surrounded the students.
"Yoo-hoo! Rise and shine, ursine!" Four out of the five robots exclaimed, Shuichi backed away from the green robot that appeared in front of him, Kokichi, who was still by his side, did that aswell, but he was a bit more in front of Shuichi in... A protective looking position? Must just be a reflex from his talent since leaders mostly tend to protect their followers.
"Kyaaaaaaaah!"
"Everyone, behind Gonta!"
"Wh-What the heck are these... monsters!?"
"They're exisals, highly mobile, bipedal weapons platforms! They got lotsa hometown pride, too!" Monokid's voice spoke up from the blue exisal.
"...I can't keep track of these backstories." Monosuke sighed from his yellow exisal.
