A/N: Sorry for the late posting, I was enjoying the nice long break but now that I'm bored it's time to continue! :D also, I may not update between august 10 and 17 because I'll be in another country, hope yall understand :D
Shuichi's POV (3rd person):
It was time for the trial, Monokuma leaded everyone to an elevator and Shuichi was standing in a corner, nervously looking down.
Kokichi came up to Shuichi and tilted his head to the side.
"You seem nervous." He stated, earning a nod from Shuichi.
Kokichi then suddently stole Shuichi's cap, making him look at Kokichi.
"H-Hey!" Shuichi protested meanwhile Kokichi giggled before quickly stopping and looking into Shuichi's eyes with a comforting expression.
"Everything will be alright Shuichi, I'll help you out even if you're the Ultimate Detective! It's not because you have that ultimate that you can only work alone! Nee-heehee!"
Shuichi smiled at Kokichi's statement and nodded, earning a bit more confidence.
"I believe in you, Shuichi, we'll be such a good duo!" The shorter boy grinned and Shuichi laughed softly.
"You're right, and I believe in you too." The detective finally answered.
With that, the elevator's doors opened and everyone walked to their podium. Shuichi noticed that Kokichi left with his cap, but he didn't mind, it was time to be more confident.
Shuichi was the last to arrive to his podium, and as soon as he arrived, Monokuma started reminding the rules of the trial.
After Monokuma stopped speaking, Kaito started speaking up.
"So, uh... What do we start with?"
Shuichi took a deep breath and spoke up loud enough for everyone to hear. "Let's start with the alibis."
Everyone else nodded and started telling their alibis, (the same as in the game) and soon, it was Kokichi and Shuichi's turn to give their alibis.
"I guess it's my turn now! Welll, I was with Shuichi the whole time, so that can't be me, riiiight Shuichi?" Kokichi spoke up, looking back at Shuichi with a wide grin.
Shuichi nodded in agreement. "It's true, we were together the whole time."
"I see, you two were taking porn pictures with those cameras I gave you!" Miu spoke up loudly, already looking like she was imagining the scene.
"Shut up, whore, we didn't." Kokichi responded neutrally, earning a moan from the perverted inventor.
Everyone else ignored that to avoid making things more awkward than it already was.
"Anyways, what's that about the cameras that Miu talked about?" Maki spoke up, looking at Shuichi.
Instead of Shuichi speaking like Maki expected, Kokichi was the one answering. "Well our whole plan failed so I guess that we can explain, we wanted to use those cameras to know who was the mastermind since we found a secret door thingy."
"Yeah... but I lost the reciever that would warn us when movements are detected, so the plan didn't work because of me..." Shuichi sighed.
"No."
"Huh..?" The detective looked up at Kokichi, who was the one that spoke up.
"I know for a fact that you didn't lose it, someone stole it." The supreme leader explained with a confident smirk, his statement making the others gasp.
