Haseena walked into her home, her heart brimming with joy from a day filled with happiness, togetherness, comfort, and love. A content smile played on her lips, and anyone could see the glow on her face, a testament to her blissful state. But as soon as she stepped into her living room, the smile vanished, replaced by shock at what she saw.

There, sitting on the sofa, was Sahil, sipping tea, while Ammi, seated opposite him, engaged him in a lively conversation. The sound of their giggles and the warmth of their smiles filled the room. As they sensed Haseena's presence, both turned to her with wide, welcoming smiles.

Ammi's voice, filled with affection, greeted her, "Arey aao Haseena, hum kab se tumhari hi rah dekh rahe the." She glanced at Sahil, who looked both nervous and hopeful, a wide grin plastered on his face.

But Haseena's mood, already soured by the unexpected sight, took a darker turn. With a firm and stern expression, she asked, "Ye yaha kya kar rahe hai?"

Her harsh tone caught them both off guard. Sahil looked at Ammi for support, while Haseena's unwavering gaze remained fixed on him. Ammi, trying to diffuse the tension, took her daughter's hand and leaned in to whisper, "Ye kaise baat kar rahi hai tum? Tumhari shaadi keliye aaye hai woh."

Haseena stared at her mother in disbelief. The memory of Ammi's lies and attempts to create misunderstandings between her and Karishma flashed in her mind. Ignoring Ammi's words, she turned to Sahil and, with as much calm as she could muster, stated, "Well, agar aisi baat hai toh let me clear this."

She placed her bag on the sofa, folded her arms across her chest, and continued, "Hum aapse shaadi karna nahi chahte Sahil, toh behtar yahi hoga ye shaadi wali baat apne dimag se nikal de."

"Haseena, ye tum kya keh rahi ho?" Ammi's voice was filled with shock as Sahil looked at her, seeking answers.

"Jo sach hai wahi keh rahe hain, Ammi. Hume kisi ko koi umeed nahi deni," Haseena replied firmly.

Sahil, his voice tinged with desperation, asked, "Humse shaadi nah karne ki wajah jan sakte hain? Agar kuch kami hai toh hum use sudharne ki puri koshish karenge."

Haseena took a deep breath, her voice steady but filled with resolve. "Ji, wajah bhi jaan lijiye so that aapke dil mein ye khayal phir na aaye. Hum kisi aur se pyaar karte hain aur unhi se shaadi karna chahte hain."

"Haseena..." Ammi tried to interrupt, but Haseena, ignoring her words, continued, "Ab agar aapko humari baat samajh aa chuki hai toh aap ja sakte hain," she said, indicating the door for Sahil to leave.

"Aunty?" Sahil looked at Ammi, hoping for help.

Before Ammi could say anything, Haseena interjected, "Shaadi hume karni hai, Ammi ko nahi! Aur humara jawab aapko maloom hai. Nahi toh fir se dohara dete hain."

She took a deep breath and continued, "Hum aapse shaadi karna nahi chahte. Shanti se keh rahe hain, Sahil, chale jaiye, wahi thik hoga aapke liye." Her tone was calm yet firm.

Sahil looked at Ammi, then back at Haseena, before leaving the house, his shoulders slumped. As he walked out, Haseena picked up her bag and headed toward her room, but Ammi's voice stopped her.

"Ruko! Ye kya badtameezi hai, Haseena? Ghar pe aaye hue mehman ke saath ye suluk kiya jata hai?" Ammi asked angrily.

"Mehmano ke saath toh nahi, per haan, humare liye aaye hue rishton ke liye yahi thik hai," Haseena replied, continuing to walk to her room.

"Tumne hume kaha tha, Haseena..." Ammi began, but Haseena cut her off, "Kya kaha tha, Ammi?"

"Yahi ki tum humari taraf se ho matlab... tumhe hume chunna hai Karishma aur..." Ammi tried to explain.
