Hongjoong grunts and pants a bit as he sat atop their sail. It had been a little over a week since they had weathered that god awful storm and they never had a chance to actually clean up the ship. Their home... It felt slightly strange to be here, after the crew couldn't find San and after the entire situation had happened between the two ships. The poor omega captain was a nervous wreck, and today, instead of drinking his nerves away, he fought against wood and ropes and the giant sail with a big rip down the middle. He sat atop the sail, straddling the pole and pulling the ropes tightly into place. "Mingi-ah! Bring me the cutter, yeah?!" He called down, his longer pulled back into a low ponytail, the sun making him drip with sweat. He gulped as his shoulders went slack and he let his head flop back, absolutely and utterly exhausted and it had maybe only been an hour. "Yeosangie, I may have to take you up on the offer of switching jobs." He giggled breathlessly.

Yeosang was on his knees messing with the sails and sat back slowly looking up to where Hongjoong was, "you only want to switch cause mine seems easier!" He groaned and stood, wiping sweat from his forehead. This whole week his anxiety was horrible. He was so worried about San. Especially since the alpha completely vanished after Hongjoong had that horrible melt down. The crew tried to look for him and even asked the locals..but no one knew where the alpha was and no one had even seen him. Yeosang pushed his thoughts down and cleared his throat, calling back up to Hongjoong. "I'll only trade jobs with you if you promise to not make me scrub barnacles!" He held a finger up to his captain which shook from exhaustion.

Mingi grunts and started up the pole, a fresh set of ropes slung over his shoulder and a pair of shears for cutting it. He climbed up the ladder and groaned tiredly as he slung the rope off of his shoulders and handed the shears over to his captain. "Shit... captain.. we need San here! He's supposed to bring the shit up!" He whined a little too loudly, flopping over on the pole and taking a deep breath before starting back down to help Yeosang with getting the old sail folded up and discarded. The new one had cost, well.. a pretty penny, and bringing it up was enough to make Hongjoong freak out. So.. they folded up the old sail, and Yeosang had spent a good amount of time getting the fresh one laid out for easy access to the captain. Mingi rubbed the sweat from his forehead and groaned loudly.

Hongjoong pants a bit and smiled down at the pair. "Awww lighten up Mingi! It's not too bad!' He giggled, his eyes catching on the alpha that he had set up by the helm, much to Seonghwa's dismay, he was absolutely not allowed to help. "Captain! How we feeling out there?!" He waved, giggling loudly and wavering a bit where he sat. "Do you need new ice for your knee?!"

Seonghwa glared up to Hongjoong with pure anger from where he sat at the helm. "I'm doing fantastic, but if you ask me again about a damn ice pack I will shove one up your fucking ass." Of course he wasn't actually angry at Hongjoong..but he was certainly annoyed. The two had reconnected. Finally, the empty hole in his heart was filled. Getting close to Hongjoong again was a little difficult with Seonghwa's hesitation and trust issues, but after a lot of long hours talking and holding each other close- they came to an understanding that they truly did need each other. That long stressful week simply continued due to his mate's crew member San being missing. Hongjoong was really beating himself up about it...

Seonghwa stood from his spot and tossed away the ice pack that was forced onto him. "You know Hong, this would be going a lot faster if you'd let me help."

Hongjoong rolled his eyes and grinned down to him with bright eyes "Ohhh you love me~" He cooed with a giggle, batting his eyelashes. "Why waste your time with an ice pack when there are so many more fun things to shove up my ass?" He giggled, as the two alphas groaned in disgust, Mingi immediately shoving his hands over his ears and retching dramatically. "I swear to god, I can't be around you two any longer-" He whined, rubbing his forehead once again before going to pull the new sail out in a line, panting a bit.
