Louis stormed into the house, having been driving the last couple hours and was still suffering some aftershock so he was frazzled to say the least.
"Mum!" He shouted, practically ruining up the lengthy spiral staircase. "Mum, where the fuck is Geoff?!"
A door down the hallway opened within seconds, out popping a groggy looking brunette woman. "Louis? Sweetheart, what are you doing here? What's wrong?"
"Where the fuck is Geoff," he carelessly pushed past her and into the bedroom, switching on the bright overhead light.
"Watch your tongue and he's not here, he's at work." She scolded, following behind him.
Louis frustratedly pushed his fingers through his hair, "Fuck! Where is he?"
"Language," she hissed. "Why are you so worked up?"
He lashed out and swiped his hand across the small stand, throwing a glass lamp to the ground and made it shatter. "Liam fucking killed someone, which isn't surprising but he killed someone to get back at me. Geoff needs to put his fucking nutter of a son in his place!"
She covered her mouth in shock, "Baby I'm so sorry, I - I'll call Geoff. He'll handle Liam."
Louis started hyperventilating, pacing around the room and suddenly collapsed on the ground with his arms around himself as he tried to keep his breathing level.
"Sweetie, breathe." She got down on her knees beside him, undoing his tucked in long sleeve dress top and rubbed her cool hand across his clammy back as she held him close and made hushed white noise sounds.
"He's dead, mum. He's fucking dead," Louis gasped between his erratic breaths. "He had nothing to do with anything and Liam - he - mum, he shot him in the back of the head."
She held her son closer, periodically kissing his temple as Louis continued to word vomit.
"I watched as they cleaned up, they acted like it was nothing - like he was nothing." He gasped, going limp and passing out.
She wasn't overly concerned with Louis passing out because he had panic attacks when he was younger, so she was used to handling situations similar to this. She tactfully grabbed a pillow from the bed and placed it under his head, lowering him down carefully.
She got up and quickly made her way downstairs, going straight to her phone.
"Darling, what are you doing awake at this hour? I was going to be home before you woke up in the morning."
"You need to talk to your son, he's gone off the deep end and if you don't fix this I'm leaving you." She threatened without hesitation.
He sighed deeply, "What's happened now?"
"Liam killed Louis'... he shot and killed Louis' male friend to get back at him for something. You need to have a talk with him, I don't know but you need to do something." She went into the kitchen and grabbed a bottled water from the fridge, heading back upstairs.
"Shit, I'll fix this darling. I will," he promised. "Get some sleep and I'll see you in the morning."
She nodded, saying goodbye and hung up. Walking back into the bedroom just as Louis was waking up and helped him upright, giving him the bottled water.
"Geoff will fix this, yeah. Let's get you to bed and we'll figure things out tomorrow." She murmured as she helped him up, basically saying exactly what Geoff had told her on the phone.

Lottie walked into the kitchen, scoffing with the infamous Tomlinson eye roll when she saw Louis at the table. "Ugh, I was hoping I was only hearing you in my dreams but just my luck you're actually here."
"Charlotte enough, not today." Johannah immediately scolded, using Lottie's full name and gave her a hard stare.
"What, it's not like Louis' little feelings will be hurt." She laughed.
Johannah picked up a banana and threw it in her direction, "Now I've asked you nicely to leave your brother alone, he's had a rough twenty-four hours and your mouth won't help any."
She pulled a face, picking up the banana and nearly smashed it onto the countertop. "Fine, whatever."
"You're such a spoiled little bitch, Lottie." Louis grumbled under his breath.
"Mum!" She practically screeched, "Did you hear what he just said to me!"
Johannah looked between her two kids, pushing her hand through her lengthy brunette hair. "And to think Geoff wants another." She mumbled inwardly, "Both of you go up to your rooms, I'll have breakfast brought up to you. Apparently neither of you can act civilized this morning."
Nobody budged until Johannah began pushing them up out of their chairs, and towards the staircase. "Off you go, loves."
