"Do you love him?" Cody asks, clearly amused.
"Oooooooh Lauren. Who do you love!?" I snap my head in Cole's direction.
"Y--"
"NO ONE!" I yell, interrupting Cody, and snapping my head in his direction and glaring at him. He lays back and smirks.
"Tell me Lo. Who do you like?" Cole asks, sitting forward on his knee, chin in hand.
"Yes, Lo." Cody says, holding out my name. "Do tell." Cody crosses his arms behind his head.
"I...uh...i...you....uh...No!" I stutter out, as they watch me with amusement.
"Really Lo?" Cole asks, raising his eyebrows and grinning at me. I blush, looking down at my hands.
"Yes, Cole. Yes, really." I snap, grinning at him. 'You know what. I'm going to get some pizza, ok?" They both chuckle as I walk out of the room and leave Cole and Cody behind.
***Cody's P.O.V.***
"How you holdin up man?" Cole asks me, sitting into Lauren's chair. I nod my head, as I see a sudden interest play across his face.
"What?" I sigh.
"What were you and Lauren talking about?" He asks me, wiggling his eyebrows.
"You." I say, smiling.
"Me?" He asks, clearly interested.
"Cole? Do you like Lauren?" He blushes, rubbing the back of his neck. A lot of people in our family do that when they're nervous.
"I-I don't know...." He trails off, not looking at me.
"Well she does." I say, as he looks up quickly, disbelief written all over his face.
"What!" He spits out, confused.
"You.Are.Who.She.Looovveess." I say, holding out love.
"Lauren loves me?" Cole asks to no one in particular, dumbfounded. I nod head as Lauren comes back in the room, pizza sauce on her chin and mouth full of pizza. She looks up at us innocently.
"What?" She asks innocently, mouth full food, making it sound more like wahhhh?
That's when Cole realized that he was in love with Lauren.
