"Uhm sure." I say, trembling. He pulls me away a little bit and holds my shoulders, looking intently into my eyes. He sighs.
"Lauren? You know you could have told me?" He hesitates before going on. "I love you Lauren. I still do. I'm here, I don't know why you couldn't just tell me?" He searches my eyes for an answer.
"You-you do?" I ask.
"Yes Lauren!" Jeremiah laughs out in a sigh. I let a faint smile play at the corners of my lips.
"Me too...." I look away, blushing. I can feel Jeremiah tense.
"What!? Lauren? Did you hit your head? You're not making much sense." Jeremiah asks me.
I let out a chuckle then explain everything to him, about me being in love with him and Cole. He understood.
"Jer! I love you! HA! I finally said it!" Jeremiah lets out a laugh as he leans in and we kiss.
I never realized how much I missed his kisses till now. I kissed him back, hungrily, pulling him into me. We both smiled against each others lips. I finally pulled back, resting our foreheads against one another. I smiled down at his lips as he grabbed me around the waist gently.
"I never told you because I didn't want anyone to pity me, like sad faces and charity and stupid crap like that..." I said, trailing off. Jeremiah grabs my chin, lifting my face so I could look him in the eyes.
"Lauren? I wouldn't have pittyed you! I would have loved you more! Your parents, I'm sorry, death is what makes you you and it has made you stronger. And sorry if I sound selfish and rude, but because of that I got to meet you, and now you're here with me and you get to be with me and my family. Lo, I love you for you! I would not have pittyed you! Like I said i only love you more!" A goofy grin starts to form on my face. I grab both side of his face and kiss him passionately.
"I love you so much Jeremiah Miller!"
