"Why would you like someone like that?"
"Someone like what, Cole?"
Yes. I'm talking to Cole Miller about liking a boy. Who you might ask? Well Laine. I'm not sure if I like Laine, but it sets Cole off, so its kinda funny to watch him squirm. I laugh on the inside, I can be really mean sometimes, but I can be really sweet sometimes.
"Why do you care Cole?" Cole doesn't look at me, he looks down playing with his fingers.
"I don't." He says, quickly and sits down on my bed.
"Cole." I say, doubtfully. Sitting next to him.
"I have to peeee!" I hear Lacey call from the closet, I forgot she was in there. I chuckle, rolling my eyes and walk over to her.
"Go." I say, opening the door and motioning to the bathroom. She waves at Cole as she runs by him.
I stand in front of Cole, putting my hands on my hips. "Cole? What's going on?"
He sighs, holding back something. "Nothing, I just don't think that you should go for him. Believe me, he's not good, I know. Please." And with that he's gone and so is Lacey, because we, of course, have school tomorrow.
I decide to get a snack and get my mind off of things. I didn't realize that me and Cole we're talking for so long, it was already midnight.
Jeremiah looks good with nothing but boxers on. Holy Cow! It's like he works out without anyone knowing! Seriously! Have you ever heard of an 8-pack? Well they're real. Cause he has them.
"Wow." I accidentally say aloud. Jeremiah turns around, startled. He blushes, noticing its me.
"Oh, Lauren, I'm sorry, you shouldn't see me like this." He says, looking down at him self.
"That is totally fine by me." He blushes and rubs the back of his neck.
I then realize that I had my pjs on too, great.
"Oh, you have your pajamas on too." He says, blushing and looking down at my neon pink sports bra and my tight black Sofie's. Suddenly I blush, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Lauren."
"Call me Lo, Jeremiah."
He gives me a questioning look. "Jer."
"Huh?"
"Don't call me Jeremiah, I hate it." I smile at him, walking past him to get a snack, I feel his eyes on me. I smile, cause Jeremiah could be someone that I could like. Just thinking about it makes me smile. I figure that I "need help" with the class we have together, Spanish.
"Jer? Do you think you could help me with our Spanish work? I have no clue what we're doing." I turn to face him, standing a little close. He smiles almost like a smile of relief.
"Course." He says, showing me where his room is.
I walk in and notice that its half messy half clean. His clothes and everything were put away, put there was paint and art supply's every where. I smile, as he nervously rubs the back of his neck. I smile at him, "I like it." He beams back at me, "Thanks."
I giggle at him, "Go put some shorts on!" I say, grinning at him. He blushes, "What? You can't this?" I laugh throwing a pair of black sports shorts at him.
Turns out, we never even studied, ha. We sat on his bed, talking. I look over at his clock.
"Oh Jeremiah! It's 3am!" He looks at his clock and shrugs.
"We could always tell my mom that we're sick?" I laugh.
"Its my second day of school!" I say, frowning and look down at his hands, wanting so badly to take them in mine, but I refrain my self.
He smirks at me. "Alright, I guess." He says, dragging out every word. I laugh at him. He gets out of his bed and walks me to my room which is right across from mine, yipee. I turn to face him, as he leans against my door frame.
"Goodnight Jeremiah." I say with a slight grin.
He grins back at me, "Goodnight Lo." I lean in and kiss his cheek as I watch him walk across the hall, shutting my door and leaning against it, smiling.
