You know the feeling of waking up after a nap only to realise you weren't asleep for just a few minutes and it was already the next day? Yeah, thats what Juniper felt like after opening her eyes and seeing a beautiful brunette in unusual clothing standing over her.
Her eyes widened immediately and sat up trying to get out of this weird shaped bed— coffin? She had no idea. She threw her hand towards the brunette in a weak attempt to throw her to the side using her magic, but it did nothing. Her hands flew to her necklace only to find it to be no longer there.
''Finally, it took ages and 3 perfectly good witches to find you in this creepy crypt and wake you up, sleeping beauty'' The brunette said in a strange accent and making a reference Juniper knew nothing about. Ignoring this for now, Juniper gazed up at her with a glare ''Who are you and what did you do to my necklace''.
The brunette uncrossed her arms and revealed a dainty, silver necklace with a crescent moon charm hanging off of it—a simple, but very powerful little thing— in her right hand with a slight smirk ''Oh, you mean this necklace? Yeah. . . I had a feeling you would want that back.'' she continued, mumbling thinking that Juniper wouldn't hear her ''Reading that book about you was worth it after all.'' Juniper frowned at her and asked again ''Who are you?'' And where am I? She wanted to ask, but she held her tongue. More important questions needed to be asked.
''My name is Katherine Pierce and you'll get your little necklace back, but only if you help me get something I want. I'll tell you where we are if you don't attack me with your witchy hands as soon as you get this back.''
Juniper looked at Katherine contemplating on what to do ''If I help you, you'll give it back?''
Katherine nods and holds out her hand ''What do you say, will you help me?''. Juniper looks at her hand, hesitating for a second. After a sigh she grabs it, getting out of the coffin with Katherine's help.
''I'll take that as a yes'' Katherine assumed, letting go of Junipers hand. Juniper had a little trouble trying to stay balanced on her feet as soon as Katherine let go, apparantly she had been asleep for a very long time. . . one of her hands held onto the side of her coffin to help herself stand straight. Did she sleep for that long that she had trouble standing all of a sudden?
Ignoring the questions she desperately wanted to ask, the witch held out her hand for her necklace. Katherine rolled her eyes, but still gave it to her.
Juniper grabbed her necklace and clasped it around her neck swiftly, immediately feeling magic flowing through her veins, succesfully waking her up more than Katherine did a few minutes ago. She held the charm with her right hand and closed her eyes with a sigh of relief.
Juniper opened her eyes and looked up at her 'savior' with a straight face. The brunette stood upright and before she could do anything Juniper threw her to the side against the wall. Succesfully this time. Katherine yelped and landed on the dirty ground with a harsh thump.
