Regretting ones actions proves to be a fatal consequence when making rash decisions and regretting her actions was exactly what Juniper was doing right now as she was skimming through a book and had done so for the last three hours.

She and Kol had spent most of the night looking through books the witch had acquired from the Salvatore library and exchanging some words here and there after the vampire had somewhat agreed to letting her help him.

Whilst they were silently reading their seperate books (she had to lay one open for him so he could read as well, seeing as he couldn't touch any objects) Juniper began thinking, thinking about why she was wasting her precious sleep-time and instead was reading through books at 4AM for a spell that could help the Original in her room, who was sitting lazily on her bed with a book in front of him and was already making himself at home whilst she was sitting in a chair across from him.

She felt like she was maybe getting a bit too selfless, feeling like the only thing she was doing lately was aiding everyone in life-threatening situations, with a spell or literally anything else.

But helping Kol felt inevitable, he would probably keep on bugging her until she would do so anyways, seeing as only she could see and hear him, which still weirded her out. What were the chances that he arrived only a week after Elijah—who coincidentally, is also an Original—did.

Alas, she couldn't find anything about someone who couldn't be seen by others and isn't able to touch anything. The only thing remotely close being a ghost, but the man swore to her that he was alive and essentially couldn't be killed. And it wasn't like she was suddenly able to see ghosts so it was just another dead end.

The witch was about to give up and go to bed when she finished her seventh book and still hadn't found anything worth value when Kol spoke up.

''. . .Seeing as we're going to spending a lot of time together we should get to know eachother.'' Juniper glanced at him with an unconvinced look, seeing his cheeky smile which told her he didn't really mean what he had just said—she raised a singular brow as to say 'go on'.

''Who cursed you?'' The original had wondered this ever since she told him that she sort of went through the same thing as him. She didn't exactly look dangerous enough to go through all that trouble, in fact she looked way too innocent to do anything worth getting cursed for. She was helping him—a stranger—for god's sake.

The witch sighed, glancing away from the vampire to look out the window on her right, she could barely see anything outside except for the moon and some faint stars here and there, in the horizon she could see a hint of the sun coming up again, indicating that it was almost morning and that they had spent the entire night wasting away with their noses in books.

''I don't know. I didn't exactly get an explanation from the one that cursed me.'' She lied with a hint of annoyance in her voice and turned back to him to see his reaction.
