If there was one place Summer expected to be on her day off from school, it was not standing in some gross karate dojo beside two of Miguel's nerdy friends who could not stop gawking at her for being in their general vicinity. She was meant to be going shopping today like she did every weekend, but Miguel had managed to convince her to join Cobra Kai somehow.

"This place is heinous." Summer breathed out as she shot Miguel a glare from the front of the classroom, the boy smiling at her brightly before going back to sparring with Aisha.

"It's not that bad." One of Miguel's friend spoke, his voice barely above a whisper. Summer thinks his name was Elliot, but she could never be sure. Which was quite sad, in retrospect, considering she had been in his class since before she could remember.

"I've seen public bathrooms with less disease than this place." Summer spat, adjusting the strap of her neon pink sports bra before crossing her arms over her chest once more.

"I'm going to have to agree with you, I could think of a million things I'd rather be doing right now." The other boy, who was brunette and was much taller than his friend, snarked.

"You and me both, Damien." Summer scoffed.

"Actually, it's-"

"Quiet!" The voice of Johnny Lawrence, or Sensei as Miguel liked to call him, rung out through the air. Kids around her flinched and cowered, but Summer held her ground, her face fixated in it's usual icy glare.

Johnny stalked through the crowd of kids, listing off insults as he went.

"Summer." He acknowledged with a nod as he passed the girl.

"Johnny." Summer bit back. She refused to call him that stupid name.

God, why was she even here?

"It's Sensei to you."

"Eat a dick."

Johnny scoffed before carrying himself through the crowd. Honestly, Summer had to hold back a laugh as he insulted half the kids in the room. He was like her internal monologue, only in the version of an old, dead beat.

"When I look around this dojo, I don't see Cobra Kai material. I see losers, I see nerds, I see a fat kid with his tits poking out." Johnny began his speech, but was cut off when Summer cleared her throat. The man rolled his eyes as he watched the girl gesture to herself. "I see prissy princesses who have no business being here."

That seemed to please the rich girl as she nodded her head once in contentment.

"But in my short time as a Sensei, I've also seen some miracles. So, maybe there's hope for you yet. First I need to see where you're at. So everybody, fall in!"
