"Ugh, what even is my life?" Summer groaned as she readjusted herself on the bench beside Aisha. Because a bench with a bunch of kids she wouldn't dare call her friends out loud at a park filled with children was now where she apparently spent her time.

"Come on, eat something. It'll make you feel better."

And to make matters worse, Summer was stuck listening to Miguel whine about his short term relationship being flushed down the drain because he was an idiot.

"I told you I'm not hungry, man."

"I still think you're overreacting." Demetri stated.

"I'm not overreacting, dude!"

"You're definitely overreacting." Summer huffed out.

"Coming from the queen of overreaction herself." Miguel snarked back, earning him a deadly glare.

"All right, so you saw her eating dinner with some chode. It's probably just her brother or something." Hawk explain as he sent one final kick to Bert's face, the younger boy falling to the ground. Summer laughed as she watched him hit the ground, sliding her phone out of her bag to take a quick photo.

"Brothers don't look at their sisters like that!"

"Depends on what part of the county you're in."

"Ew." Summer mumbled under her breath as she typed away on her phone. She had been arguing with her mother ever since she had tried to force Summer to have dinner with Hayden, her mom's official new boyfriend.

"Look, I just don't want what happened to Sensei to happen to me." Miguel spoke sadly. Summer couldn't find it in her to care, however. She knew Miguel was whining for no good reason. Sam didn't seem like the cheating type, and even if she was, it was better to find out now than later on it life.

"All right, so you go over to this kid and beat his ass so he doesn't have the chance." Hawk grinned ear to ear, nodding his head at his plan.

"Don't listen to Eli." Demetri rolled his eyes.

"It's Hawk."

Summer rolled her eyes. The pair of best friends had been on thin ice ever since Hawk's transformation.

"Don't listen to either of these freaks, no girl would touch them with a ten foot pole." Summer snarked before sliding her phone back in her bag and turning to face Miguel, "has Sam ever done anything to make you not trust her?"

"No," Miguel trailed out, yelping when Summer slapped him in the face. "Then what the fuck are you bitching about?"

The group of four fell into a silence after that, until Aisha let out a groan, "that little bitch!"
