Summer fanned herself as she sat in the parking lot of the strip mall, her black sunglasses adorning her face and dressed clad in a bikini top and low rise pair of shorts. She was waiting for Aisha to finish her practice, the two girls having plans on going to the country club, where Summer had planned to spend the whole day laid out by the pool and avoiding Daniel LaRusso, who still had not given up on the nice guy act.

"Hey, Summer!" Aisha called out as she exited the dojo, a girl Summer had never seen before following closely behind.

"Hurry up, I'm practically melting here!" Summer called back, still fanning her face with a Japanese fan she had found at a convenience store a few summers ago.

"This is Tory," Aisha explained, pointing to the girl who waved from behind, "mind if she tags along?"

Summer looked from Aisha, pulling her sunglasses up into her hairline and raising an eyebrow at the Nichols girl. "Whatever."

Tory smiled at the girl before jumping in the backseat, "this is a nice car."

"Don't lie to me, I asked for a red interior and my mother came home with cream." Summer scoffed before reversing hazardously and taking off down the road.

Summer had decided that she liked Tory Nichols. It didn't honestly take much, one controversial comment had Summer laughing and that was all it really took to win the O'Connor girl over.

"Alright ladies, where to first?" Summer asked, her platform flip flops clicking on the ground as the trio overlooked the balcony.

"Okay, this is not the beach." Tory laughed, "where are the homeless men on roller blades and the guys shoving shitty hip-hop demos in your face?"

"Ew, rollerblades." Summer mumbled, almost gagging at the thought.

"I'm gonna go grab some food." Aisha told the two girls, leaving them behind in search of the buffet the club usually had on offer.

Tory and Summer watched her go, before an idea struck the shorter girls mind, "wanna hit the bar?"

"Will that work?" Tory asked doubtfully, clearly referring to the fact that neither of the girls were over the age of 21.

"I guess we'll find out." Summer laughed, grabbing the Nichols girl's hand and dragging her off into the direction of the bar.

Only one bartender was working when they approached, the man looking down as he cleaned some glasses with a tea towel. He looked quite young, 23 at the oldest, and was dressed in the normal uniform.

Summer cleared her throat to grab his attention, "excuse me, sir. Two pina coladas, please."

"Yeah, I'm going to have to see some ID." He shot back, clearly unimpressed by the two girl's horrible effort at underage drinking.
