Summer had given up on karate as soon as Johnny began discussing that everyone needed to be punched in the face before the end of her final lesson. She had gotten the gi and everything, even complained about the colour of it, something along the lines of her looking better in black. So, while she watched everyone get punched in the face by each other, she had opted to dragging the chair out of Johnny's office and laugh as she watched everyone fall to the ground in pain. Johnny didn't even tell the girl to leave, to which she was grateful for because as much as she would never admit to it, Miguel Diaz seemed to be her only friend at the moment. And if sitting around while he trained karate was when they hung out, then so be it.

Which is how she ended up sitting on the karate mat, flipping through a magazine while the rest of Cobra Kai stretched and discussed what Miguel should do for his date with Sam he had planned.

"I need somewhere romantic, but not too romantic." Miguel informed the group. Summer didn't miss the way Aisha rolled her eyes, which was apparently due to the fact that Sam and her used to be besties before they had a nasty falling out.

"You could take her to get tattoos." Eli, or Hawk as he goes by now, offered. Summer scoffed at the idea, "that's the dumbest idea I think I've ever heard, well, ever."

Hawk rolled his eyes at the girl, mumbling something about how she wasn't cool enough to get it as he climbed to hit feet and began undoing his robe, turning around to show off the tattoo which covered the entirety of his upper back.

Summer grimaced at the bird on his back, "oh my god, you're life is officially over. Ew."

"That is badass!" Aisha commented with a smile. Summer shot the girl an incredulous look before turning her attention to Miguel, who shook his head at the girl to keep her quiet.

"Right. Fourteen hours in the chair." Hawk told the group, which only furthered Summer's disgust.

"So, you wasted your time, your money and any chance of getting a girlfriend? Crazy." Summer was met with a tug of her hair from Miguel, his silent way of telling her to shut up.

"Are your parents okay with that?" Aisha questioned. Hawk's smile immediately fell, quickly covering up the tattoo and sitting back on the ground, "they have no idea. Definitely going to have to wear a t-shirt until college. Maybe longer."

"Oh shucks." Summer sassed.

Miguel waved the girl off, not interested in seeing her or Hawk bicker over the tattoo. "Any other suggestions?"

"No movies, that's all I have to say." Summer shrugged in response, flipping the page of her magazine.

"I could use a little more help than that. You're a girl, right Summer?"
