The sun was out, and Summer was looking forward to tanning on the beach on the one day Johnny had given her off. Turns out, the man had no idea what he was doing and being his unpaid assistant was a lot more work than she signed up for.

So, headphones in and Nicki Minaj blasting, Summer laid on the sand in her baby pink bikini, hoping to add some colour to her skin. That was until the burning warmth from the sun dropped slightly and, even through her closed eyes, she could feel the light disappear.

"Who stole the freaking sun?" The girl groaned, ripping out her wired headphones and opening her eyes. Sure enough, Miguel and Hawk peered down at her, less than impressed looks on their faces.

"Ugh, what now?"

"Why didn't you tell us Sensei was Robby's dad?" Miguel immediately accused.

"Cause if he didn't tell you, then it was clearly none of your business." Summer snarked, not liking the accusing tones or deadly glares they were sending her.

"So, you admit you knew and didn't tell us?" Hawk spat.

"Don't get mouthy with me, bird man. Without that mohawk you were nothing but a loser who couldn't speak at full volume." Summer shot back, not missing the way Hawk's face dropped slightly. The girl scoffed at the two boys, wondering where they got the nerve to speak to her with such disrespect.

"And you didn't tell us Robby was your ex boyfriend." Miguel listed off, his arms crossed.

"And that has anything to do with anything, how?" Summer rolled her eyes, which were still shielded away by her Prada sunglasses.

"Just makes us wonder what else you're lying about." Miguel snapped back almost instantaneously, his eyes blazing with betrayal. Betrayal that wasn't valid, it wasn't his nor anyone else's business what Summer did with the knowledge of her past relationship.

Summer glared up at the two boys, who before today, she might have even considered her friends.

The girl released a bitter laugh, collecting her belongings as she stood up and flinging her towel over her shoulder. "Well, just take a look at you two, thinking just because you won a lame ass karate competition it makes you hot shit. Pathetic." Summer spat, tone cruel and words aimed to kill. "Can't believe I ever wasted my time hanging around the likes of you two losers."

And with that, the girl sauntered off in the direction of her car, where she would sit for the next few minutes. Losing friends had never really bothered Summer all that much, she lost them all the time. She would keep them around for long enough and then drop them like trash. But Miguel and Hawk had been different, she didn't actually want to blow her brains out whenever she was with them.
