A/N: I was supposed to upload this tomorrow, but screw it let's just send it out. So yeah, here you go. Next chapter is still in writing though, so expect it around next Saturday at least.

"That was exhausting."

I opened my eyes, finding myself back in the afternoon. It was exactly the same. The people whose money I had stolen were in the exact same places, the knights were in the exact same positions, and as I looked ahead, I saw it. Subaru was standing in front of the same apple vendor as before.

Time travel through death huh? I expected that there was time travel involved, but I didn't know that death was the trigger point. And, why am I bonded to Subaru? Is it because we both are from the other world? If that is the case, my time here is heavily dependent upon Subaru's survival here. Subaru seemed relatively the same, but was I back to how I was before?

I looked down, noticing that I was wearing the leather tunic I had been before, which doesn't make sense. My bag, the knives were all there. All the belongings that had been with me, travelled back in time with me.

Fascinating.

Subaru doesn't seem to have the same privilege as I do, for he doesn't seem to have been reborn with the glass he had been clinging onto out of fear. Which means this ability of carrying belongings with me through time is unique only to me. I could feel the gears ticking in my mind, as another plan formed instantly. Now all I had to do was capture Subaru.

Suddenly, Subaru's body fell to the side, and he was on the road, unconscious. I rushed over, to see the apple vendor standing there, looking over him.

"I am so sorry for the disturbance." I said to him. "That boy is a cousin of mine, he's been sick the last few days. We didn't expect him to leave the house, so we gave him some medicine to sleep better, and it must have kicked in."

"Ah, I see." The shop vendor said. "Be careful and look after the kid, he looked like he saw a ghost."

"Of course, thank you for your consideration." I said, giving him some copper coins. "A little something as an apology for the trouble, and if you could give me some apples."

"Oh, sure thing. Here you go kid." The vendor gave me a half dozen apples, and with that I grabbed Subaru, rushing into the alley. I found myself back at the house I had found the first time, and entered with him on my back. I looked around, and propped Subaru up on a chair. Now, to tie him up. I quickly took his clothes off, using them as bindings by cutting them into pieces. I tied up his legs, arms and even made a makeshift blindfold.

"No resistance so far." I muttered under my breath. From the looks of it, I have at least half an hour or so before he wakes up. I took a bite out of my apple, and inspected through the things in my bag. My uniform was present, and so were all the coins that I had stolen. I ended up with having 700 copper coins, 300 silver coins, 80 gold coins and 15 holy coins.

I quickly left the pouches out, and put the coins in my bag as they are. I used the thread of the pouches to further strengthen Subaru's bindings should he wake up before I arrive, and walked out. I made my way to the main street, looking for someone that would sell me magic items. After 10 minutes or so of questioning people, I found a place high up in the second district.

"What brings you here, lad?" The man, one with a long bushy beard asked me curiously.

"I'm looking for an item that is convenient to carry, but also has a lot of storage." I told him. "A metia perhaps." The old man smirked.

"Eh, then you've come to the right place." He said, taking a few minutes before coming back with a brown pouch bearing a golden lace. "It's still in development, so think of this as an on the side bargain. But one of these bad boys has unlimited storage. You put anything in, it stays in. Of course, living things are a no, but any objects are fair game."
