The next morning, Ryuuen POV:
"Has Rem informed you three of what's going on?" Crusch, the green haired lady asked, as Subaru, Ayanokouji and I entered, accompanied by the blue haired twin maid. Rem, if I can recall. I shrugged, taking a seat on the couch and kicking my legs up on the table. The monster sat down on the couch calmly as always, and Subaru sat down on a green cushioned chair next to us. I wonder what this drama's all about.
"What I felt was...something like a presence through the sense that I share with my sister." Rem explained. Heh, twin telepathy for real I guess. Wait though...if that's the case, then if one gets fucked, does the other...Ayo. I shook my head. That's a thought for later. "My sister could have used her clairvoyance to get a clearer picture, but I..." She shook her head. It was clear enough she wasn't as capable as her sister was. Not like I care, they're honestly both of no importance.
"Clairvoyance is future sight then, right?" I leaned lower, whispering. I didn't need to do it, the monster's sharp senses would pick it up regardless, but I would rather not get that cat furry's attention on me.
"Not necessarily." Ayanokouji replied. "It can include any ability that goes beyond the perception of normal senses, but it's most conventionally used with future sight."
"We don't have the full details present with us just yet, but it came from the Mathers' domain." Crusch continued explaining. "Which you all know as Margrave Roswaal's territory. It seems some troubling movement was seen in the vicinity of his mansion." She explained.
"I expect he would have taken precautions." Ayanokouji muttered, even as his gaze seemed distant. I had gotten used to that enough to know that the mastermind was at work, planning far ahead already. Now that I know where he gets that brainpower from, I wonder if he thinks it was worth it? All the Whiteroom stuff? I'll ask him later.
"Indeed. Parts of his domain are already at high alert." Crusch explained. "We expected this situation to arise ever since he declared his support for the half-elf, Emilia."
"You mean, there's trouble because of that prejudice?" Subaru asked. On the surface, it would look like that. But Roswaal is strong, if the rumors I've heard are anything to go by. So, to do a protest like that, there's definitely more to it.
"That is likely a correct summation." Crusch confirmed Subaru's suspicions.
"As her knights, I suppose we have to help." Ayanokouji got up, his gaze turning to Subaru. "Looks like you might just get the chance to show everything you've learnt."
All three of us got up, making our way to the exit, but the monster stopped. He turned back to Crusch.
"The next time we meet, I suppose it won't be on friendly terms." He said. Crusch nodded in response.
"It won't. The next time we meet, it shall be as enemies." Crusch's gaze narrowed, her glare hardening.
"Fair enough. But, the next time we meet, do give me a chance to repay your hospitality, and the dinner. Next one will be on me." He said, and walked out of the door.
And the T-Rex strikes. That's one girl down.
Two, actually.
Hey! Elsa's mine, lady.
...
Fine, two it is.
God I hate that robotic bastard.
Some time later, Ayanokouji POV:
"Good thing you got us a different carriage." Ryueen said, sitting in front of me as we rode in our carriage behind Subaru's.
