I got home and changed into something fit for a battle. I thought of Blaze for one last time. I was gonna end it for us, all of us. My phone rang and I looked at it. It was an unknown number. No doubt it was Dragon.

"What?"

"No need for attitude."

"I'll give you more than attitude. I want to meet you. I want the time and place."

"Feisty, I like it. There's an old warehouse on the edge of town. Be there at 8:00. And come alone."

"You and the fucking warehouses. I'll be there."

I grabbed my keys and left for the door. I got in my car and started driving. I put in the address and it was quite the drive. I got there with 5 minutes to spare. I saw Dragon sitting in a chair. He looked evil, dangerous, and even cold.

"I'm here."

"Sweet Silver. What a pleasure."

"Cut the bullshit. I'm here to end you."

Dragon's goons came out of the shadows and were holding guns.

"Such a pussy."

"What?"

"You had to call in your buddies to help you take down a 17 year old?"

Dragon motioned his buddies to leave.

"How was the funeral? I'm sure it was heart moving."

"It was. Now, tell me why?"

"Why what?"

"Why do you want me so bad?"

"You make me sick."

"What'd I do?"

"You were born. Your mother and I go way back."

"How back are we talking about?"

"Before you were born. You have your mother's eyes. You look so much like your father."

He was touching my face.

"How do you know my mom?"

"Ever heard of Frozen World?"

"Yeah. My mom used to work there."

"I was her old boss."

"Oh, so you're the asshole that touched her. So, what? You want revenge on her or do you have a thing for young girls?"

"Both."

"And that's something don't you feel ashamed of?"

"A man has his needs. And your mother met mine."

"How did you even find her?"

"She's married to Kyle Jefferson, she's not hard to miss."

"You're disgusting."

"And you're hot."

"And 17. How did you go from making frozen treats to being the leader of a gang?"
