You want to be a solider
You want to hurt your enemies
You want to be known as a hero
To taste the butter juices of revenge
To see the fear when your name is spoken
To tell war stories when you go home
Leave loved ones behind
Leave your life abruptly
And never question your decisions
But at what cost
Broken hearted and alone on holidays
While reading letters from loved ones
Brought to tears when thought about
Frustrated over daily
Do you still want to be a solider
