When we talk in person it's always small talk
When we hug we wish it could last forever
And when we catch each others glance it seems to never end
When I go home I think of things to say
I dare myself to do things tomorrow that I know I never will do
And when I wake up I jump out of the bed eagerly
I do genuinely think this is skinny love
That type of love that is hidden yet bold
Those types of moments where we just want to be together
My heart gets butterflies when I see you
Tears roll down my face when something goes wrong with us
And I get so frustrated when I see you with another
All my friends don't want to see us together
My head is on there side too
Yet my heart pounds and screams only for you
I do genuinely think this is skinny love
That type of love that is hidden yet bold
