So this is my life
My oh so confusing life
My life filled of struggles and heartbreak
Don't pity my wasted life and it's troubles and aches
Live your life to the fullest and try not to let them see you cry
Keep your head up and don't let anything pass you by
For then you will think about it each and every day
And you will wish for it even while you pray
Don't be ashamed to admit your faults and wrongs
Don't be afraid to should or sing your favorite song
But sometimes it's okay to be a wallflower in the shadows
And sometimes it's okay to kill a little sparrow
I'm sorry my friend but my poem is getting a little dark
For sometimes my inner demons come out and want to leave their mark
Then again doesn't everyone have their moments their not proud of
Like when a mother realizes she never gave her child enough love
I'm beginning to ramble so I think it's time I go
Don't forget life is like a meadow of flowers covered in snow
And don't forget to have fun and take risks
Because life is short and can be ended by one slit of the wrist
