ZAISHA

Back to Delhi, back to work mode. The fun is over. I have only 3 months left. 3 months is not a lot of time to make 8 dresses which match the theme. It's time to get the work done.

It's been two weeks since we came back. But my brain doesn't want to work. Everything I make is either rubbish or garbage and I just want to tear it up and throw it out. Even Aarohi is not here to help me out. She is on her marriage break for the next month.

It's lunch break, so I thought it would be better to have lunch first so my brain cells might get activated. As usual, Reyaan messaged me to ask if I have had my lunch. I can't believe we are dating, for real this time.

For these past two weeks after coming back from Udaipur, we have texted a lot. We talk about our day. Reyaan has finally started to open up about himself. Not a lot but baby steps. He also sends me pictures of Roman every morning when he wakes up and then in the evening. We not only text but we also call every night as well and we usually fall asleep like that.

Surprisingly, my brother has also finally started to talk to Reyaan. They both are mending their relations bit by bit. Yesterday, they went out as well, to some social event. But a win is a win.

Everything is perfect at this point. Except for my work life. My inner voice reminded me. Now I even have pressure from Ms. Ahuja, who now wants to see my work. But I have nothing to show.

After lunch, I went back to work. I made layouts the entire day and finally got some work done. I didn't realize when it was 7. It was Reyaan's text which made me aware of the time. The text was to let me know that he was here. He picks me up every day.

Zaisha:

You should go. I'll be here for another hour.

Reyaan:

It's fine, I'll wait.

Zaisha:

Come upstairs then.

Five minutes later, he was standing in my office. He enveloped me in a warm hug, which removed almost all my exhaustion.

"How much work have you got?" he asked.

"A lot. I have barely started." I replied.

"You need to get some rest. You look exhausted."

"I can't. I have got an amazing opportunity, and I am not letting it go because I am being lazy."

"You are not lazy. You are exhausted. There's a difference. You have been working non-stop for the last two weeks." He said, concerned.

"But I have a lot of work." I told him.

"Okay, how about this? You come with me, I'll make you dinner while you can work and then we can watch your Disney movie. You can even meet Roman. He is missing you." He suggested.

I narrowed my eyes, "Tempting. But that's just your plan to make me come to your house."

"True, but it's still a solid plan." He shrugged. It does sound good and I really want to see Roman.

"Fine! But I am not leaving until I complete this." I gestured towards the already started project.

"Works for me." he said with a smirk. Cheeky bastard.

After an hour and half, I finally finished my work. In the meantime, Reyaan also worked, sitting on the couch. Not that he did anything, but he was still very distracting.

As soon as we entered Reyaan's house, Roman jumped at me. "Hi my pookie bear. How are you?" I petted him as he licked my hand. He looks so happy. A contrast to the Roman we found on the road.

"Did you miss me?" He barked. I will take that as a yes. Reyaan left us alone when I settled on the floor with Roman.

After a while, Reyaan came out of his room, wearing sweatpants, only sweatpants. There was no shirt. His body is chiselled with perfectly built muscles. I was properly ogling him when he coughed to get my attention. "Are you done gawking?"

"No, and it's called gazing." My throat feels dry. "Turn around." I ordered and he obeyed with a smirk on his face. His body is carved perfectly. Does he live in the gym or what?

"Can I go now? I have to make dinner. For you."

"You are the one who thought of not wearing a shirt. Don't blame me. But fine. You can go. I am hungry." I replied.

I took Roman in my arms and roamed around the house. It's completely changed from the last time I was here. There are dog toys everywhere. Roman has his own playroom, so that he doesn't get bored when Reyaan goes to work. He has also installed security cameras around the house, so that he can get to know if Roman gets out of the house.

I put him down to go into the kitchen and he followed me. I washed my hands and sat on the kitchen counter. "Don't you have to work?" Reyaan asked.

"Not when my eyes are working." I replied. "What are you making?"

"You'll see." He answered. "Do you want any help?" I asked out of courtesy.

"No. I am good. Thanks."

"Great. Because I don't really know how to do anything." I replied which made him laugh.

"You can set up the table if you want." He suggested. I got down from the counter and took the plates and cutlery out on the dining table.

When I came back to the kitchen he had chocolate in his hands. "Why do you have a chocolate? What are you making? Tell me."

"I remember someone telling me that I am not good with surprises." He mocked me. I am good with surprises but not when you have a chocolate with you.

I put on my puppy face, and traced my finger on his chest. "Rey, are you sure you don't want to tell me?" I moved my finger down his abs, playing with the waistband of his sweatpants. His body stilled. He leaned towards me; his mouth dangerously close to my ear. He was about to say something when Roman barked and he snapped back to his previous position.

"You should wait outside." He advised. I released a sigh and went out.

After a while Reyaan brought the food and put it on the table. I snorted as soon as I saw what he had made.

"Your favourite. Pasta and chocolate shake." He said while settling down on the chair. I smiled when I remembered our first date.

"This is so delicious." I complimented after I took the first bite. Even the chocolate shake is so thick and heavenly.

After we finished our dinner, I decided to watch frozen. We made a comfy bed in front of the living room T.V. with an air mattress. It was really cozy with blankets and snacks. Roman was on his own bed.

Reyaan and I cuddled as I placed my head on his shoulder, resting comfortably. His bare skin sent goosebumps to rise on my skin.

Halfway through the movie, I felt Reyaan's hand move around my body, exploring it. He started kissing my shoulder and moved to my neck and ear. My heart started beating rapidly, movie forgotten.
