Fall
Out of worry, I couldn’t afford to appreciate the pink sunset as we were in a hurry to go back due to the arising of black smoke.
We were near the fall when I heard a not so girly shriek so I ran faster. Arriving, my gaze landed at Kuya Tros who’s fuming in anger while holding his red sword.
Before him is a huge boulder that was vertically and horizontally sliced.
Few meters away from him is an another boulder that was blown into pieces, where the black smoke is coming from.
Except Lex and Kuya, the rest of the team is nowhere to be found. The whole area is now a mess.
The burnt ground is also wider than earlier where Kuya Gab was standing as he carry a huge boulder.
Kuya Tros’ eyes went through my skull.
What did I do?
My question escaped my brain when Kuya’s eyes followed Mohan. He didn’t payed attention to the heavy atmosphere and just went back underneath the waterfall.
Alexander arrived at the scene but I expected less as he despise Mon too for some reason.
Kuya Tros plunged his sword to a huge rock, great displeasure is written in his face. Then went towards Mohan.
He grabbed Mon’s collar. “Hanggang ngayon ba naman ay mayabang ka pa rin! Do you think lowly of us? Huh, Ramirez?!”
I can’t pick a thought. If I will stop them, it will be so suspicious. If I let them, I probably do not want Mon to be hurt by Kuya.
Bahala na.
I saw Lex running near them, same time with mine. All my rational thoughts flew away when Kuya put Mon’s face on the water.
Before Lex and I could reach them, I felt the ground violently shook. We almost went out of balance if we were not holding unto each other.
“Enough.” I heard a familiar authoritive voice.
My eyes darted at the tied trunks near Kuya Gabriel’s foot. Ten. . I was counting the trunks. I assumed the ground shook when he threw those on the ground.
I shook my head to collect my thoughts. Hurriedly and worriedly, I went to them.
I glared at him despite Mon’s nonchalant face. He looked calm and collected, nevertheless, I am worried.
Kuya flinched when I pressed his bruise a little bit while wrapping it in a gauze. I don’t care. He put the quarrel up.
“Gabriel and Mama . . They arranged this training for as long as seven days. That shit Ramirez refused and will leave day after tomorrow.” He answered my question. I felt the need throw more questions but the questions itself will be questionable to my part.
“Why are you even concern to him anyways?”
My, my. . .
To get rid of his question, I acted like I am irritated.
“My point is you shouldn’t act like that impulsively. Dapat kinausap mo na lang.” He didn’t said anything nor reacted and I didn’t bother to look back if he did.
