Now that the traitor has been discovered, Izuku came to Kurogiri to get some info on All For One. But when a villain injects Kurogiri with the Trigger serum, along with an unknown substance that causes a quirk to go out of control, Izuku gets transp...
Izuku and Ricky are finally in Dewford town and are waiting in the Pokémon center for Archie and Primarina to recover.
Ricky: Are you sure you aren't going to use them?
Izuku: Archie deserves a break and I feel like I'm not ready to use Primarina. She probably hates me.
Ricky: I don't think so. I mean, she did at first, but when you dove after Archie to save him from drowning, her aura changed. It went from being that of complete surprise. Probably because you risked your life to save him.
Izuku: What does that have to do with her change of tone?
Ricky: Seigi, not all Pokémon are fond of humans. Some of them hate humans. There are some humans out there that don't treat us as living beings and instead as merely tools who can just be abandoned without any one caring.
Izuku: What? Why would they do such a thing?!
Ricky: I don't know. But Pokémon that experience such a thing tend to grow a hatred for humans. On the other hand, some Pokémon are just taught to never trust a human because they are all like that. I'm not saying that it's true, of course, but some Pokémon are just taught such a thing. Sirenia might have gone through one of those things. Trust me. Unlike your world, others tend to be mistreated.
Izuku: Oh, how wrong you are.
Ricky: What do you mean?
Izuku: Ricky. Did you forget that my quirk was passed down to me?
Ricky: Um...
Izuku: It wasn't passed down to me until I was 15. Up until then, I was quirkless. A part of the 20% of the people who had no power. That may be a standard thing for this world, but not in my world. The people apart of that 20% are treated horribly. And I was no different. I was made fun of, pranked, my grades were purposely lowered to make the kids in my class with quirks seem smarter, even abused. And almost no one cared about me. The only ones who did were my parents. However, I never told them about what I went through because I didn't want to worry them. It's been hard enough since my dad is always working overseas.
Ricky: Are you sure he didn't just leave to get the milk or-
Izuku: *Annoyed* No. I hate that everyone thinks that. My dad just works overseas so he isn't around all that often. We still video chat at times. But he didn't leave to get the milk or anything like that.
Ricky: Oh... sorry. So, you went through all that abuse, and still have the desire to be a hero?
Izuku: Of course. It's all I wanted to be.
Ricky: No wonder I can sense such a strong sense of justice from your aura. You're a great man, Seigi.
Izuku: Thanks, friend.
Nurse Joy: Izuku Midoriya, your Pokémon are ready for you.
Izuku went to the counter, took his Pokémon, and bowed.
Izuku: Thank you.
Nurse Joy: It's no problem. We hope to see you again.
Izuku and Ricky left and got to the Dewford Gym. But when they got in...
