It was the next morning and the team were walking through Route 120 until they stopped midway in a clear area. It was time for Ash and Izuku's battle.
Ash: This should be a good spot to have a battle.
Pikachu: Koneko, why don't you be the Ref?
Koneko: I don't know how to do so.
Meowth: It's easy. Just say stuff like "Battle begin" or "This Pokémon is unable to battle, that Pokémon wins."
Koneko: Oh. Ok then. *Clears throat* Ok, trainers, send out your Pokémon.
Izuku: Alright, Ricky. Ready?
Ricky: Ready.
Pikachu: Let's do this!
Ash: Hold on, Pikachu.

Izuku: So, you aren't using Pikachu? I've never seen your other Pokémon. Who are you going to use?
Ash brings out a Pokéball.
