Another week passed by
That morning, Lilac decided to swim a few laps. It's been awhile since she went out of her sweet serene space.
After swimming, she took a shower and decided that she's going to spend the rest of the day watching cinema and hanging out in the mall.
" Oo pre dito na ko" Juan said as he entered the elevator.
" Sa lahat ng maiiwan mong nakasaksak plancha pa talaga? Di na ko babalik, sobrang traffic na niyan pauwi" He said annoyed.
Lilac got home and had Brie on facetime
" So, ano? Uwi ka na lang kaya dito muna samin?" Her friend said
" Nakakahiya naman kanila tito" Lilac said while putting away her laundry,
" Eh kasi sabi mo nalulungkot ka diyan eh, kung pwede lang ako mag overnight sayo eh" Brie said hesitantly
" Ano ka ba, I'll be alright. Sad lang kasi I feel so alone and hindi ko naman gusto umuwi ng probinsya"
" Kaya nga dito ka muna, bantayan mo tong mga kapatid ko!" Brie jokes
They spoke for 4 hours and Brie took a screenshot and posted it on her story, which Lilac reposted and captioned " Thank you, now I won't sleep without saying a single word"
" Tumal naman sa story" He thought. He doesn't know much about her, which makes it even more interesting. And he doesn't want to spoil it, he likes it that way.
It's about 11pm and she decided to drop by the convenience store to buy some water. The elevator opened and Juan was inside, however, Lilac was just looking down with her headphones on.
" Di nya ba ko nakita?" He thought. Thr smell of Lilac's hair lingerd through his nostrils.
And when Lilac lifted up her face, and saw Juan from the reflection on the elevator door.
"H-hey" She looked behind and smiled
"going somewhere?" He asked plainly
"Uhm just gonna go buy some water, ikaw?"
"May bibilin lang din, wala palang food si Shua eh"
"Ohh, that nice of you naman"
" Ahh hindi, ako lang kakain. Umuwi siya ng Tagaytay."
" Huh? Nakatira ka rin dito?"
" No, he uhh" He paused " He asked a favor na pumunta ako dito kasi nakalimutan nya daw nakakasaksak yung plancha nya"
" Oh no, that's bad!"
" Oo nga eh, sobrang traffic na niya kasi pauwi sa amin sa Parañaque so I'll stay the night na lang"
"Hmm" Lilac nodded
"Woah, this is the longest conversation we ever had ah" Lilac thought
" Nag dinner ka na?" Juan asked
" Hmm, hindi pa. Nag coffee kasi ako eh"
" Gusto mo mag KFC or something?" He asked
" Hmm for water lang kasi yung dala kong pera eh" She said as she glanced at her pouch
" Libre mo ba?" She added
Juan couldn't help but chuckle, she didn't expect her to say that.
" Bayaran mo na lang pag balik" He said and she giggled
" If you want, I can come with you naman. Sad ka yata eh?" Lilac said
" Uy hindi na ah! Anong gagawin mo dun kung di ka naman kakain?"
" Wala, I mean, pwede naman ako sumama kasi di pa rin naman ako sleepy."
