" It's getting late na ah" Lilac said while looking at the time, "Almost 11pm na, hindi ka ba uuwi?"
" Baka mag stay na ako kay Joshua, may stuff naman na ako doon"
" Ohhh okay, anong oras ka papasok bukas?" She asked
" Baka mag afternoon shift na lang kami, hindi pa sure tho"
A loud thunder roared outside " Oh nooooo, si Love" She pouted.
" Gusto mo, kuhain ko muna sya mamaya?"
" Hindi ba hassle if dadalin mo lahat pati litter box nya?"
" Hmmm, samahan ko sya?" Juan asked
" Can you?" She looks at him with pleading eyes and said " Okay lang sayo?"
" Oo naman"
" Sige uwi ka na"
" Agad agad?!" Juan smirked
" See oh? She sleeps by the door na ever since I got here" She showed a live feed of her home security camera.
" Would you be okay alone?" Juan asked concerned,
" Yes, ano pang mangyayari sakin eh nasa ospital na nga ako?" She joked.
" Sige, I'll get my stuff lang sa unit ni Josh then puntahan ko na si Love, okay? Would it be fine kung sa bed mo ako mag sleep?"
" Yeah, but not with your outside clothes ha!"
" Of course, you made it clear na" He chuckled.
" You remembered?"
" Oo naman, I mean, tama ka naman eh"
" Thank you, Juan" She smiled genuinely.
" Pagaling ka, alis na ko" Then he closed the door behind him.
On Joshua's unit....
Miguel was busy playing xbox when he entered,
" Kuha lng ako gamit ko, dun ako sa unit ni Lilac matutulog"
Miguel paused the game immediately
" HUH?!" Then glanced at Josh
" Basta" He answered.
" Tangina Juan ha, iba na yan"
" Di kasi" Juan answered annoyed.
" Anong hindi?"
" It's fine, don't worry about it" Juan continued.
" End na kasi with Andrea" Miguel whined
" There's nothing to end naman, wala naman talaga"
" Eh bakit di ka makatanggi? It's been going on for awhile na ah? Hindi naman kayo? Wala naman pumipilit sayo maging available para sakanya palagi" Josh said as he took a sip of his beer.
" Hindi nya pa kasi kaya" Juan sat down
" Maybe she's just manipulating you"
" Hindi eh, she's just fragile talaga"
" Baka sex kasi kamo" Miguel laughed
" Tanga, hindi"
" So, ano? Si Lilac?"
" Bakit kasi nag aassume na kayo agad ng worst? Hindi ba pwedeng gusto ko lang maging kaibigan si Lilac?"
" You know by heart na you can't be friends with her. Alam mong iba pupuntahan nyan" Josh chuckled
" Tangina" Juan let out a laugh " Tangina kasi, sobrang... ughhhhh"
Joshua threw a can of beer to him and he immediately opened it.
" Sobrang, intriguing ni Lilac, alam mo yon. Parang, basta"
" Tangina salitaan na yan ng mga in love na eh" Miguel laughed
" Hindi tol, hindi din" Juan argued
" Hindi pa" Miguel answered.
" Tangina kasi, tantanan mo na si Andrea, trust me bro, kaya nya ng wala ka"
Juan finished his beer and went straight to Lilac's unit.
Love was waiting by the door and immediately welcomed him with loud meows and clung to his leg.
" Mom's gone huh?" He said as he picked her up.
" Don't worry, I'm here, you're not gonna sleep alone"
The next morning came and he woke up around 7am.
