After 2 weeks,
Juan was about to go home after hanging out with Shua in his unit. They just ended an 8 hour shift and spent the rest of the day playing on his console.
Elevator stopped at the 19th and guess who just entered, Lilac.
She smiled and he nodded. Lilac stood on his left side while his hands were in his pockets. He's thinking about initiating a conversation however, he doesn't know what to say.
Grabe talaga 'to, di namamansin?! Lilac thought. It's not something that annoys her naman, she's just questioning herself how much effort does it take for him to say Hi or let you know that he knows you and you exist. It's not that hard??? Like?
"It's late na ah", Juan glanced at his watch, 10:52. "Alis ka?" He couldn't help it but ask, after all, it's not so safe for a woman para lumabas ng gabi.
" Hmm?" Lilac said while trying to come back from her thoughts " Ahh, I don't have water na pala eh, bibili lang ako sa baba"
" Water? Nauubusan ka?"
" Ahh oo eh, like for inumin"
" I know, but how come you forgot? Hindi ka ba umiinom lagi?"
" Umiinom naman, kaya nga ubos eh diba?" She laughed
" Well buy two na, para pag naubos na yung isa, it's time for you to buy na again, para hindi ka nawawalan" He said. Not even a glance was made to her.
" Ang bigat kasi, hindi ko kaya mabuhat kasi eh" She explained and he silently laughed.
Elevator arrived at the lobby and he said " Good night" while pulling out his car keys from his pocket and walked away. Wala nang isip isip, he stopped walking and looked back.
" By the way, nag dinner ka na ba?" but she's gone out of his sight.
That night, narealize nya na hindi man lang pala sila friends sa Facebook, do not follow each other on instagram and X.
He made sure to click on add before falling asleep.
