They started eating when her phone rang
" Sobrang daming concerned sa'yo noh?" He said
" It's my dad" She looked at him
" Ohh yan pala eh"
" I kinda don't wanna answer"
" Come on, he's probably concerned lang, go na. Just keep eating na lang"
" Hmmm" She thought for a while
Juan suddenly pressed the answer button making Lilac shocked.
" Hi Bunny, how are you?" Her dad said
" I'm fine"
" Do you have enough food?"
" Yes"
" Do you need money?"
" No"
" Are you sure? I'll transfer you some emergency money pa rin. Have you talked to your kuya? I was worried kasi na mag isa ka, kaso malayo pala sya"
" Hmm I'm not alone naman"
" Oh? Sinong kasama mo? si Love?"
She paused for awhile " oo, saka bagong boyfriend ko"
Juan choked on his food. Gago amputa.
He heard him laughed " Asus, nagbibiro ka na naman"
" Napatawag ka pala dad? Wala ka sa bahay nyo?"
" Nandito ako kila kuya Ralph mo, sa Marikina. I was worried kasi baka wala silang katulong magtaas ng gamit"
" Ohh, so sinong kasama nila kambal?"
" They're fine naman sa condo nila, mas kailangan nila ako dito, oh here's kuya Ralph" Juan saw that her dad showed someone to Lilac
" Hi bunny, you're all good there?"
" Hi kuya, yes, I am"
" Don't go outside for awhile, lubog daw Buendia ah"
" I went down nga kanina, water is in the lobby na" She smiled
" Nag stairs ka?"
" Yes, I had no choice eh, mahirap maubusan ng ice. Wala pa rin kasing kuryente until now"
" Sabi ko sayo bumili ka na ng camping freezer eh"
" Wala na akong paglalagyan, and super mahal!" She smiled.
" Puntahan kita sometime ha, busy pa kasi ako sa work. Si Kuya Renz mo din kasi, busy pa sa training. Okay?"

" Hold on, let me give this to kuya Renz mo para makita ka nya, see the baha? It's on my waist na oh" He heard as he continued eating.
" Hi kuya!" Lilac greeted the other man as the phone was handed to him

" Sabi ni Ram may kasama ka daw?"

" Sus, edi natakot yan, by the way, wala bang nasira sa condo mo? Do you need anything? You have enough food?"
" Hay nakooooo pang 4 ka na nagtanong nyan, yes I'm okay, yes I have food. I am fineeeeee" She whined
" Don't go out na ha, stay inside lang and always lock your doors." He reminded her " Mahirap na magisa ka lang and malayo ka pa samin"
" I am not alone nga, may kasama nga akoooo"
" Tingin nga?"
Lilac flashed the screen on Juan's face who's drinking at the moment.
" See? I'm not lying"
" Aba! May kasama nga. Again again, show him again"
" Wala na, hindi na pwede"
" Lilac Simone ha!" Her eldest kuya said
She laughed " Ayaw nyo non, sila kambal will be around the same age lang ng magiging pamangkin nyo saakin" She joked
Siraulo din talaga eh. Juan thought. He never expected that this will be her humor.
" Subukan mo talaga" Ralph warned
Lilac laughed again " It's okay to do stuff, wag ka lang mag anak muna, you're still young" Her kuya Renz said.
" Pinagsasabi nyong mag kuya kayo jan! Hindi pa rin okay, saka bakit mo ba kasama yan?" The eldest asked again.
" He got stranded lang kasi, he's a classmate. Basta, stranded dito sa condo ng friend nya na classmate ko rin, so yun -" She was cut off
" So bakit nasa unit mo?"
" Eh wala syang susi eh, he got locked out."
" Sus, para paraan eh" Her kuya argued
" Totoo yun!"
" Totoo ba yon? Ano nga pangalan nyan?"
" Juan"
" Juan, is that true?" Lilac moved the screen again

" Di ka pumaparaan jan?"
" Di po. I uhhm, It's true that I was on my friend's unit, I slept over kasi may inutos lang sya. But, yeah I got stranded na. Then when the power went out, naisip ko if okay lang ba si Lilac so I went down dito sa floor nya, I forgot to grab the spare key, and the electric lock won't open unless of course, there's electricity" He explained.
" Hmmmmm, so bakit mo naisip si Lilac?" Renz asked
" Eh kasi boyfriend ko siya nga" Lilac interrupted
" Shhhh shhhh shhh" Ralph shushed her.
" W-wala po, I got concerned lang kasi di siya nagrereply. And that, she might be feeling scared"
" So magkachat kayo?"
" H-hindi din po. I just messaged her lang po"
" So, nung di sya nag reply, pinuntahan mo and?"
" Turns out she's asleep lang po pala habang nag la-landfall yung bagyo hehe" He smiled
" Hybrid yan eh" Renz joked
" Di naman pala kayo Bunny eh, delulu ka pala"
" He's just shy noh! Di nya masabi sainyo na crush nya ako"
" Oo nga po eh" Juan joked too
" Gagi!" Lilac said shocked
" Kitams, kabado sya ih" Ralph joked as he notices the change on Lilac's face.
" Sige ha, ingat kayo. I trust you bunny, balik ko na to kay dad"
" Bye na kuya!" She immediately ended the call
" You didn't said good bye na to your dad?" He asked
" It's okay, I just talked to him naman na eh"
" Grabe, magkakamuka kayong lahat"
" Nako, wait til you see the kambal, they look like me"
" And bunny?"
"Hmm?" Lilac though he called her
" Why bunny?"
" Oh, my nickname? Ewan ko, they said I'm their hunny bunny eh, so bunny, yeah"
" Close naman pala kayo eh"
" Oo nga, we're okay naman lahat, ako lang naman tong may guts magalit kay dad and magsungit sakanya"
" Does he know you're mad or upset?"
" He does, yeah, kaya nga he tries eh" She sighed and clicked her tongue. She breathed heavily again and said
"It's not about that kasi, it's the principle. Alam mo bang may affair din sila ng secretary nya now? 3 years old pa lang yung kambal" She said " Sobrang walang respect sa babae eh"
" So, what's his relationship sa mothers nyo?"
" Wala, ewan ko sa mother nung kambal, but yeah, kaya naman ako nagalit kasi nalaman ko yung sakanila ng secretary nya. Worst part is, si Tita pa yung nagsabi saakin"
" Tita?" He asked in confusion
" Yung mom nung kambal"
" Well, what does she expect ba kasi? Na may special sa vagina nya para sya yung piliin? Dapat tanggap nya yun, see, like, now, syempre, doon sya kila kuya Ralph, kasi family comes first" She laughed " I mean, first family comes first" She laughed again.
