The rain hasn't stopped, Juan decided to sleep on Li's pull out bed. After 2 hours she decided to lie down.
She wasn't feeling well. She left a gap on her window to keep the air circulating. Hindi naman din ganon kainit kasi hanggang ngayon umuulan pa din. she turn on the rechargeable fan and put it beside Juan.
It's around 1am when he was woken up by Love meowing on his face. He blinked couple of times before Love went beside Lilac's. She meowed once again and went back to Juan.
"What's wrong? Hm?" Juan tried to cuddle Love
A long meow came out Love and went beside Lilac again. He stood up, and said "what is it huh?"
He looked at Lilac sleeping. Pawis na pawis at nanginginig.
"Shit" he whispered, he touched her forehead and she's burning.
"Li?" He tried to wake her up tapping her hands but a tear fell down on her cheek.
"Lilac?" He tapped again, she opened her eyes and said
"It's so cold"
"You're sick"
"Could you please turn off the fan?"
"Nothing was ON na, sobrang pawis ka, bihis ka kaya?"
But she didn't answer "Lilac?"
"I can't stand up, my head hurts Juan, I'm sorry" She said crying.
He saw her clothes are soaking from her sweat. Hindi 'to pwede, lalo ka lang magkakasakit.
So he went to in front of the cabinet that he assumed was her closet. He was stunned on the amount of clothes he saw, his eyes were automatically glued to the lingeries carefully hanged.
He looked for a simple tee and shorts, Puwede na to.
He said and closed the cabinet,
"Li, sit up ma lang so you could change your clothes. Sobra basa ka ng pawis" He said
She started unbottoning her pyjamas and a pair of melons flashed before Juan's eyes. He quickly put the shirt on her.
"You want to change to shorts pa ba or it's too cold?" He asked
"No na po, please?" She said tearing up again.
"Wag ka muna mag sleep okay? You need to take a flu medicine." He said "Where can I find those pala?"
"Sa medinice cabinet po, sa bathroom" She replied
Sweet pala to pag may sakit eh.
He came back to the bedroom with water and medicine, Lilac was covered in blanket and still trembling.
"Here, drink na"
"Lilac"
He removed the cover and saw Lilac closed eyes and trembling too much.
"Hey, drink this na please."
Lilac sat yo again while saying, "It's uhm" 'I-I-it's too cold, Juan. S-s-sorry y-you're t-t-taking cccare of m-m-mee"
"It's okay Li" He caressed her hair while she drinks the water. "Is there anything I can do for you?"
"C-c-can y-y-you rub my b-back?"
