5. How could you

I left the washroom flustered, my body going through many emotions at once as I got closer to the table I put on a fake smile to mask whatever had just happened.

"Hey you okay?" Enzo whispered in my ear as I sat down, I looked over at him and smiled, "mhm," I hummed, I couldn't help but feel guilty I shouldn't since he slept with Astoria just last night but I do.

I played with the straw that was in my drink taking a few sips here and there, I found myself zoning out but I quickly caught myself and brought myself back to the conversation taking place.

"Wait so you really turned snape into a rabbit? That's priceless," Jules was laughing, I remember that day. Theo was so scared that he'd get into much trouble, luckily I helped him get out it.

"I still can't believe you didn't get expelled for that!" Pansy laughed in theos direction, he was laughing as well as almost everyone.

"I wish I'd seen that," Jules sighed finally catching her breath from all the laughing.

"Have you guys decided what you're wearing to the Halloween party ?" I looked over at Enzo once he asked the question, Halloween was in two days and we had matching costumes.. well technically not he was going as Jason and I was going as Freddy Kruger, regardless of the stuff going on I was excited and still planning on going with him.

"I'm going as Sally from nightmare before christmas and Draco is going as the guy, whatever his name is," pansy answered, "his name is jack skellington you imbecile," he nudged her playfully.

I'm going as Lola bunny," Jules spoke shortly after.

I looked over at Blaise waiting for his answer but he was busy stuffing his face with food, he noticed us looking at him and looked up confused,

"huh? oh,I'm going as The joker, Heath ledger version," rightfully so, he was the best joker.

"Jules is just doing skeleton makeup on me," I heard his voice speak up but I couldn't bring myself to look at him, I felt my palms start to get clammy.

When did he even get back and how did I not notice it, "oh my, guys we're going to look so hot, there's a reason we're the most popular in our house," pansy giggled, I could tell she was starting to get drunk.

"Cheers to that, I'm going to get more drinks!" Enzo piped up, he placed his hand on my thigh before getting up and leaving.

I felt someone's foot touch mine but instead of moving it they kept it there, I knew it was Mattheo.

I rolled my eyes and sucked in a breath of air before looking at him, "what do you want?" I whispered.

He stared at me for a a few seconds like he was examining my face, he looked me up and down a few times before his stare turned into a smirk, "you."

I felt my cheeks heat up immediately, I quickly excused myself from the table and went to the bar to find Enzo.

"Hello love," he greeted me with a smile once I made my way over to him, I couldn't help but feel warm looking at him but that feeling mixed with guilt knowing what I did not even an hour ago.

Being a teenage girl is so complicated.

"What's wrong?" He asked raising concern, clearly I wasn't that good at masking my emotions but I just smiled and leaned my head on him.

"I just missed you," I muttered, his scent filled my nose it was more soft than Mattheos.

"I miss you to pretty girl, but I'm right here and I promise everything will be fine," I wish that were true, I wish I could turn back time to not even 48 hours ago when we were laughing at the top of the astronomy tower and everything was normal.
