I woke up feeling like shit, my head pounding as last nights memories began flooding back. I could barley remember coming back inside after I had left to get some air.

I needed to talk to pansy, no way was I letting Enzo ruin our friendship she's like my sister, shes my other half, she keeps me grounded.

I can't lose her.

I knew she felt bad, If I know anything about pansy it was that she would beat herself up about this for as long as possible.

I needed to go talk to her, tell her that I forgive her.

I got up and threw my hair into a bun and slipped on my slippers before leaving my room and walking across the hall to her room.

I knocked softly on her door not daring to enter without knocking after last nights events, I waited at the door tapping my foot anxiously maybe she's still asleep.

I was about to go back to my room when I heard the door open, I snapped my head looking in the direction of the door my eyes meeting with hers.

We stared at each other for a few minutes neither of us speaking first but our eyes talking a million words for us without having to use our mouths, I let out a small sigh breaking the delicate moment.

"Merry Christmas Pansy," I started giving her a weak smile, before I could say anything I was engulfed in a hug followed my a bunch of 'I'm sorrys'

"I'm so sorry Tessa, I don't know what came over me!" She heaved her breath catching in her throat, I placed my arms around her returning the hug.

"It's okay, I know. I forgive you," my voice muffled as it was buried in the crook of her neck.

I held onto the hug longer than I normally would, I needed this I've felt so empty for the past couple of weeks pretending like everything was fine when in reality it wasn't.

It never would be.

I let her go finally because I could feel the knot in my stomach tightening, warning me if I kept hugging her I would start crying and probably never stop at this point.

"Im going to go back to my room and get ready," I whispered pulling away from her.

I took a quick shower letting the warm water flow over my body, I knew mattheo would be here soon and I didn't know if should be angry at him or not, he gave me no explanation he just went full ghost mode.

I stepped out of the shower wrapping the towel around my body and started blow drying my hair.

after I finished my hair I did light makeup and threw on a navy blue hoodie with a white color shirt to go underneath along with a white tennis skirt.

Christmas morning at Malfoy Manor had always been a blend of glitz and cold, a facade of luxury that barely masked the unease that lingered beneath the surface. This year, though, the manor was quieter than usual. The usual decorations seemed muted, and the sparkle of the tree lights did little to warm the chill that had settled in my heart.

I was still in my room, when the sound of the front door echoing through the grand hall caught my attention.

I stiffened, recognizing the familiar footfalls that were absent for far too long. My heart skipped a beat as I set my cup down, a mix of hope and frustration flaring up inside me.

Mattheo had been gone for a week, disappearing without a word, leaving me in a state of confusion and worry.

I stormed down the stairs, determined to confront him.
