Chapter 3
Katie grabbed a glass of water and went up to her room. She sat on the bed and texted Hannah.
Katie: 'Where the hell are you and Liam?!'
Hannah: 'We went back to his house, sorry..'
Bitch.., Katie thought. She threw her phone to the other side of the bed. Someone knocked on her door.
"What?" Katie asked, annoyed.
"Can I come in?"
It was Tyler.
"No," Katie said immediately. Tyler came in anyway.
"What part of 'no' don't you understand?!" Katie yelled.
"I wanted to talk to you. Why do you hate me? Downstairs, you seemed like any second I was going through the wall," Tyler said in a soothing voice. He is really cute..., Katie thought. STOP. No.
Tyler sat on the edge of the bed and said, almost in a whisper, "You're the girl from the party, aren't you?"
"Yes," Katie hesitated but admitted, in a hushed voice as well. A tear began to fall from her eye. Tyler looked confused.
"Why are you crying? Are you okay?" Tyler said, comforting her.
"No. I'm not okay," Katie said through another tear. Before Tyler had any time to respond, (again), Katie ran to the bathroom and locked the door.
"Katie!" Tyler ran to the outside of the door. He heard her throwing up. "Katie, are you okay?" The door unlocked and Katie walked out. She looked like a zombie. Her eyes bloodshot and full of tears, her cheeks tearstained, her face... Well... I guess you could say a little green since she just threw up.
"These things happen when you're pregnant. I'm fine," Katie walked past Tyler and into her bedroom. She sat on the bed and took a sip of her water. Tyler stood in the hallway for a second, then ran into Katie's room.
"What?!" Tyler was obviously still processing. Katie popped a piece of gum into her mouth from her drawer.
"You heard me," Katie's voice cracked and another tear added to the stains on her face. Tyler walked over to her and hugged her.
"I'm so sorry, Katie," Tyler said, kissing Katie's forehead.
