Chapter 6
The next morning, Katie woke up to the really bright sun rays shining through her window. She groaned. What time is it?, Katie asked herself. She turned over and grabbed her phone. 7:06 am. Why didn't her mom come and wake her up?! She was going to be late for school now! She jumped quickly out of bed, but just as quickly, regretted it. Her stomach did a flip and Katie quickly clutched it. She looked up at the mirror and noticed she never changed her clothes. She doesn't even remember what happened after Tyler kissed her...? Strange.
Katie slowly lifted her shirt to see her stomach in the mirror. She sighed in relief but quickly reminded herself that the bump will come sooner or later. She picked out a casual outfit; not too comfy, not too dressy. She headed downstairs and found her older brother, Dylan, sitting at the table eating a waffle.
"Hey, how was your weekend away with Mom and Dad?" Katie asked, hugging him.
"Super fun," he replied sarcastically. "What did you do all by your lonesome self?"
"Just had a few friends over."
"Mhmm," Dylan nodded, shoving the rest of the waffle in his mouth.
"What, you don't believe me? You know I wouldn't have a crazy party here!" Katie insisted.
"Yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. You're boring," he put his plate in the sink and walked out of the kitchen. Katie rolled her eyes, smiling.

Tyler remained in his bed, thinking about last night, wondering if it was just a dream. But, of course, it wasn't. He had no idea how he was going to pull this one off this time. Tyler got out of bed, got dressed, and ate a healthy breakfast. He slammed the front door behind him, hoping it would wake his father up.
Tyler and his dad have had a bad relationship ever since he divorced Tyler's mom. Tyler lives with his dad most of the time, but he'd much rather live with his mom downtown. Getting away from all of this seemed like paradise. No slutty cheerleaders (which he had to admit got pretty annoying after a while, even though he thought they were hot), no dad, new school, no Katie, and sure as hell no baby.

When Katie walked through the main doors, she felt like everyone was staring at her. But they weren't. She felt like everyone knew. But they didn't. She wanted to keep it that way. She spotted Lindsay and Hannah talking to some boy... Wait.. That was Dylan. What was he doing at the juniors' lockers? He was a senior. He looked concerned then all of a sudden his whole face dropped. Dylan looked in complete shock then in the blink of an eye, he looked like he was going to punch the lockers. Katie had a feeling she knew what they told him and she hated them for it. It wasn't their secret to tell! Katie had a right to tell him whenever she wanted!
Dylan stormed passed Katie without even looking at her. He went right to Tyler, who was walking up to her.
"How could you do that to her?! That's my sister!!" Dylan shoved Tyler up against the lockers.
"Get off me man! She's just as guilty as I am!" Tyler pushed Dylan off of him and almost immediately, Dylan punched Tyler hard in the face.
Everyone surrounding gasped. Katie couldn't believe what was happening before her eyes. They were practically shouting to the whole junior class that Katie and Tyler had sex.. And um.. There were unexpected consequences to those actions. Katie was mortified.
