Chapter 2: Introduction (Tsukishima)

I'm walking with Yams for the millionth time to school, I have to admit that I love walking with him but I have to keep my 'cold, cool, collected' aura up. Looking weak to him would ruin my chances completely, yes I still think I have a chance with him. I'm delusional.

We make it to school and wander into the gym where maybe a little less then half of the team is waiting, doing stretches and drills.

I walked away with a smile and did some stretching of my own, slightly sad to be leaving Yams but it wouldn't be for long, I kept telling myself. Soon the gym began filling up with my teammates who began socializing with one another, and as usual Hinata and Kageyamas race which they always tied, you can hear their heavy footsteps from a mile away so people know when to stand clear of the entrance, which I find ammusing.

"I'll beat you some day, Shrimp" Kageyama said between in-between huffs and puffs, making Hinata look more enraged then before which I didn't think was possible. I thought of making a snarky comment but I decided to give the king a break. Maybe.

I glanced down at Hinata, he was small with bright orange hair that was always all over the place, he was a middle blocker with me, I don't know how but I have to admit, the shorties way better then me. 

"Tsuki!!!" I heard a yell behind me and a smile slid accross my face, alreading knowing who it was. I quickly hid it as I turned around and walked over to the shocked face of Yams.

"I just saw, Suga and Daichi" He began and looked around, "Making out!" he whisper shouted but no one heard. I looked at him shocked realising what that meant, to me. If they're gay then surely they'd support me. 

"I'm not shocked" I replied with a chuckled which made his face light up, maybe I should try be nicer more often, he seems to like it. Next thing I know, Suga and Daichi walk out of the locker room, their hair and unform scrunched and messed up, I looked at Tadashi and raised a brow.

"Looks like you two had some fun~" Tadashi teased and I couldn't help but burst out laughing, the two seniors turned around with flushed expressions on their faces. The two quickly dashed off which left me and Yamaguchi practically exploding with laughter.

** after practice **

I glanced over at Yams who was talking to Hinata, his face red and he looked a little uncomfortable which I hate to admit, I was a little nervous about so I decided to scoot closer and hear the conversation...

"W-wait really?" 

"Yeah! He looked pretty genuine, and pretty~ You should shoot your shot, Yamaguchi!"

I already knew what they were talking about just by two sentences, there goes my chance. Another guy liked Yams and I'm just left here, alone.

"I'm not interested in him though"

My ears perked up, wait.. what?

"Oh shit um, he's on his way right now. I heard him talking to someone earlier that he was going to confess like about no-"

Some one walked through the door, he was maybe a few inches shorter then me, dark blue eyes and navy purple hair and then I reconised him, he was a second year and better then me in like every aspect. I don't think I have a chance.
