Naglabas ako ng mahabang hikab bago igalaw ang leeg ko pakanan at pakaliwa, trying to get my blood flowing to my head and fully wake myself up. I'm still feeling groggy from lack of sleep and man, what I would do to have a coffee right now. Pero magsstart 'yung first class ko in 10 minutes.

Mondays sucks. Slash that. School sucks.

I drag myself in the hallway full of students. Some are running to catch their first class before the bell rings and some are just lazily chit-chatting with their group of friends.

Irene had a scowl on her face while Seulgi is telling her something. My eyes witness Irene's mouth spitting words I couldn't decipher because of the distance. From the looks of it, they're arguing. Irene gave Seulgi one last roll of her eyes before storming off. Seulgi had a dejected look as she lean her back on the lockers.

"Ano 'yun?" Tanong ko sakanya nang makalapit ako. Tiningnan niya ako bago bumuntong hininga.

"Just Irene being irrational." Sagot niya. I unlock my lockers and retrieve my book for my first class. I didn't question her further when I sense na ayaw niya itong pag-usapan.

"By the way, Bam's throwing a party on wednesday. You coming?"

"Yeah sure." I told her. I rarely refuse invites that offer free booze and fun.

Sumipol nang mahina si Seulgi.
"Your little friend just arrived."

"Ano?" I turn a confuse look at her. She pouted somewhere and I followed her line of sight.

My eyes found Jennie on her lockers on the other side of the hallway, talking to her australian friend. She was grinning wide and my heart skip a beat when I saw those familiar gummy smile.

"Hanggang ngayon curious pa rin ako anong nangyari sainyo. Before we became friends, lagi ko kayong nakikitang magkasama. You two were inseparable. What happened?"

I fell in love.

That's what happened. You see, Seulgi is right. Jennie and I? We used to be bestfriends.

I met her when her family moved in our neighbourhood when I was 6. Nagkakilala kami and then we just clicked instantly. No one can separate us. Well that is until Mino came into the picture. The inseparable duo became a trio.

I knew Jennie already snatched my heart the first time I laid my eyes on her and saw her petting my dog. I was content with just being her friend which I later regretted. Because one day, Mino invited Jennie to the park and confessed his feelings to her.

They started dating. They hangout more and more without me. They were happy while I was miserable.

I felt unneeded, invisible. Like a supporting actor witnessing the two main roles fall in love so I detached myself from the group, saving my heart from completely breaking. I kept my distance and find new friends.

Gusto kong sabihin na inagaw ni Mino si Jennie mula sa akin but Jennie was never mine to begin with.

"Hindi mo ba siya namimiss?" Nanatili ang titig ko kay Jennie. Her long brunette hair is braided on one side. She looks girly and so beautiful it makes my heart ache. Lagi kong sinasabi sakanya dati na I prefer her hair being braided because she looks like a princess.
