Poetry 12:My Anchor

Every time I look at her,
It's like something inside me stirs
How can anyone be so perfect?
She's the one who has that 'effect'

Her eyes, ah, they're smouldering green,
I fell for them when I was fourteen
One look at them and I was a goner,
I knew I should've asked her out sooner

Her lips, oh, they're soft and pink,
Every time she speaks they move in sync
To kiss them is a huge privilege,
Hers against mine is like a blast of voltage

Her smile, man, it's so adorable,
It's something that's completely incomparable
Her perfect teeth clinks as she talks,
They're sometimes covered by her dreadlocks

Her legs, damn, they're so sexy,
When they're wrapped around me, it makes me completely crazy
When she walks I can't control my eyes,
I feel like a kid who's given a prize

I keep thinking what I did to deserve her
Coz I'm her light and she's my anchor.
