Poetry 4:Vicious Girl

You said you'll love me forever, said we'll spend our life together,
Said I was your girl, and you'd help me whenever.

You made me trust you with all my heart,
little did I know you were gonna tear it apart,

Then suddenly you leave me all alone,
when I heard about it you were long gone.

I searched all day and night for you,
giving up when I realised how our distance grew.

For months and months, I cried to sleep,
only to know no one could hear me weep.

When you left me, you made me stronger,
I'm not the naive little girl any longer.

Now here I stand, vicious and tall,
though in the back of my mind, I won't forget you at all.
