Poetry 24:It's all Greek

Lighting booms across the sky
Zeus smiles and says Hi
Waves of water splash with power
It's Poseidon, he's feeling sour

Darkness engulfs the world
Hades coyly laughs from above
Two lovers reunite
Aphrodite smiles with delight

The sun shines, the stars hide in a scurry
It's Apollo, and he's in a hurry
Bloodshed and violence looms everywhere
That's when you know Ares is here

People start taking wise decisions
It's Athena, she's someone with precision
Farmers smile, as agriculture booms
Demeter is there, showering boons

And then there's me,
snoring in content
After all,
Hypnos and I are best of friends!
